Is Florida soil good enough to grow weed naturally?

so my friend lives in the central Florida area and he wants to know if the soil is good enough for him to put a seed in the ground and grow it naturally. What do y’all think?

Cannabis will grow in just about anything. How good it turns out is a different story.

Grew up in central Fl-nothing but sand and palmetto's. Although I have grown outdoors in Fl, you really need to add amendments.

Location, location, location. I can move left or right a few feet and my Florida soil will be different. He will have to amend, but looking at local soil maps will help find spots that are better. Learning to read soil maps helps too.
