Is Canada really better than the US?

They have free healthcare and hockey I've never been but I bet they have better waffles or why else would they need all that maple syrup and they probably have a highway just for snow mobiles plus I heard crime is zero percent in most places.

We have great potential as country and we do offer some world class items, scenic views and healthcare for all, but like any other country we're being run by a bunch of fraking idiots who have no clue as to what it means to govern, wasting our precious resources, squandering our taxes on frivolous personal expenses claiming some archaic political edict gives them right to do what they want.

We do have killer waffles though :)

Just like everywhere there are pro's and con's
Free healthcare is not exactly free as taxes are much higher in Canada
If Canadians are such great hockey players, why have they not won a Stanley Cup since 1993?
The maple syrup comes from Quebec, which is not really Canada but kind of, for now.
Highways for snowmobiles wouldn't work well in the summer so typically cars/trucks/motorcycles are utilized

Good beer, well let's just say way better than American beer, but that's not saying much
Yes, colourful money that's 91 cents on the USA dollar

I had a good lol.
It might be the fact that most teams are now in the US, and currently roster more Canadians then US players.

Yes, a multitude of reasons. Until the salary cap Canadian teams were unable to spend to the same degree as american ones, and every single one of those american teams that won the cup was full of Canadian players, and if you're a conspiracy theorist, the league has a vested interest in advancing the game in america. I had a laugh because the rest of the post seemed serious, this was such a ridiculous question that it had to be a joke.
