Unless you are using RO water, you won't need it except in the first few weeks of flowering when demand is highest. But with RO water it's a necessity.

Now is Cal/Mag needed when using a base nutrient such as AN Sensi Bloom or is the amount of Calcium and Magnesium insufficient in the base nutrient? Im in R/O water by the way.

RO process removes the cal mag, if your AN product has it you probably dont need to add more...

I mix my tap water 50/50 with RO water, seems to stabilize very well with a consistant PH balance of 6.0 (after I add the nutes), this way I never need to add cal/mag. Of course I let my tap water stand for a day before mixing it..

Really it depends, seems like AN uses less Mg than other nutrient companies, but that doesn't mean you NEED it. Although, I have seen someone get an ounce difference in yield with and without cal-mag, and the plant without was not showing to be deficient either.

i dont beleif in PH, i would think chris cringle is real before PH.
Yeah, this guy is pretty damn quotable. What's ridiculous is that I agree with his beliefs and also follow them. I just wish I was as quotable. Now I want to know what he thinks about Equilibrium!
