Im not using one... but I have heard NOT to get these closets. The heat and PVC aren't good for plants. I don't know the extent of damage done but it is a well known fact try to avoid this. Try the Hydrohut version instead www.hydrohut.com.

i just set a grow up for someone using those tents from htg supply with 0 probs .. two 1000w auto feed rez chiller ect .. if it gets that hot to out gass the pvc nothing would be growing in the tent and most likley it would burn down .. so i guess yer relatively safe with there tents ..

ss ..

For what it would cost you to buy one of these tents you could build your own 4 x 4 x6 H box. Right now im taking mine down to move. soon as I get to the new place I will post pic of it . cost to build one under $100 bucks.

I have that same tent I believe. I got mine off of ebay but it looks identical. I ran temps up to 92 degrees and never had a gassing problem. I also have a 4x4 and tho i'm notlonger using it, it worked great. Just remember ventilation is key!

I know I've heard all the bad things about the white pvc but HTGsupply is supposed to be a pretty good name I've heard. I ordered my light, reflector, inline fan, carbon filter from them. All work great with no problems.

Ok this is what I wanted to hear. Do you think you could get some pics up of the system running just so I can make sure ya know? + rep for the picture bro sorry I just need to visually see it.

I know I could build one but thats not what I need right now. Also with my current housing situation I can't be seen building weird objects. I need something that is built to be taken down fast and put up fast. Not something that is screwed and nailed together. Thanks though for the idea. I am using an old dresser right now for a grow box so I would rether just keep that than making a new one.

thanks for the response if you could please post a pic of it so I can see sorry I just want to make sure before I go through the process of buying waiting for shipping all to get a bad tent ya know? They are priced right so its what I'm leaning towards. I already have two fans one 4" on 6" so I good on the ventalation. Have numorous tower fans sitting around my house that work well in tight spaces.

I had one and the connections that the supports go into are cheap plastic. A couple broke and I had to zip a screw thru one on the top and into a stud in the room it was in. It wasn't very sturdy and wanted toi fall over with everything I added to hang.

I dont have a good pic at thte moment. I would look on ebay, you can save about 50 bucks on the one your looking at. Looking at my tents again I see that my 4x4 is the white pvc material, my smaller one is the reflective silver. Im still using the smaller one as a 24 hour cloning room.

ok awesome can your point me in the direction to that person. I want to find out how many vent ports its got and what size and what not. I need atleast a 6" port cause my light hood is 6" and I don't wanna do a downsizer/upsizer it takes up to much room. My carbon filter is a 4" filter so I forsee this some sort of a problem. I have a 4" fan and a 6" fan as well both work very well I just need to know something from somone who has one?

Your vent hole size issue is the same problem that I and the other guy where looking at.

You should be able to find all the info from this web site.

Ya I think its a typo or something I mean who would make 5" vent holes when most of the reflector hoods on the market are atleast 6". I'm going to go with the secret jardin. Its gonna be a bit though I was just doing my research. Thanks everyone for pointing me in the right direction.
