That is crazy high, I would almost be worried about someone stealing your power, that seems so damn high, but I guess it really depends on your location.

How much does it say they charge you per KWH?

I pay 6c CDN/Kwh....yours must be like 30c per Kwh...

Something you could do to cut back on power is switch your water heater, oven, furnace and anything else to natural Gas. And if you have gas at your place a generator would be a lot easier to run, you wouldnt need to mess around with propane tanks or anything.

Generators do work, but if your able to stay on the grid and convert other appliances to Gas it will be a LOT easier, and less stress. Generators are a fucking hassle.

ima have to agree, holy shit 800!

The highest I've ever seen was like 600, and this house was ALOT bigger and had a family of 8!

That definitely seems high.
I would really look at your bill. Examine your price per KWH. Here where I live, they have different rates for peek times and also for total amounts. IE my price for 500KW is different than the first 300KW.
I would take a day and buy one of those things that you plug into each receptacle to measure power usage. Compare that to ratings of the device. Once you figure out what you are actually using, then compare that to your bill. If the numbers don't add up, then defiantly find out if they are making a mistake or in worse case find out if someone is stealing your power.

$800, for one month  I snap if mines if over $150, in the summer with the air on.

Dude, you're either powering the sun itself, or there's a problem. I'd be looking in to that.

Just check to see what's causing it. Turn off your main breaker and watch your meter, see if it's still moving. I find it hard to believe that someone would be tapping your power, but I find a $800 electric bill even harder to believe with only 2 600's.

Even if by some chance you had bad wiring or one ...I don't know...shit. There's no way....

exactly how many 600's are you running....you said a few dual 6's, does that mean your running 3600 watts? do you have lights going for veg. this bill seems high for a hobby/personal-setup but i have seen commercial ops run 600-800 dollar bills for years. the power company is in the business of selling power, its not in thier best interest to turn in thier big accounts.
