Is a 6.2L container enough?

I have a very small cabinet grow box.

Link somewhere in my profile ot my grow juronal.

I want to run a very small micro DCW system.

I have everything I need including a high power air pump and 2x 4" airstones.

I have a 5L (1.3gallons) and 6.2L (1.6 gallons) container.

Are these big enough to grow 1 or 2 plants? Or am i wasting my time and money thinking small? Should I give up a on micro DWC?

NZ: for what it's worth, an Aerogarden's reservoir only holds 112 ounces, 16 ounces less than a gallon, and that works fine if you don't overload it with more than two small plants. Three is pushing it but if you're only growing one in each pot it should work fine. You'll have to watch your pH like a hawk as it's apt to change quickly in such a small volume when they start feeding. Good luck and please keep us posted. HSA

Thanks tip top toker and HSA.

I have been googling "small DWC" and "micro DWC".. but couldnt find anyone using close to a 1 gallon container.

I think I might just play it safe and do 1 plant at a time.

Will keep updating my Grow Journal.

I sometimes do 1 plant in a 10L tub with say 6 liters of water in them. Works just fine, but as i say, it get's drunk quick and means that things can go wrong fairly fast. So long as you're not as lazy as me you should be able to pull it off without too much effort :)

Would I end up having to replace the water everyday near the end of hte flowing stag,e as i heard a fully grown plant can drink a gallon (4L) a day?!

I was talking with my girlfriend, and we decided I could have a larger 20L res next to the grow box with a syphon hose i could use to top up the pot easily.

Im far from lazy. Infact im probably over caring for them with all the attention I give them lol
