Is 3 days of drying good enough?

After harvesting i gave the plant an extensive trim, got as many trim leafs off as i can. Than i had them dry in a box in my garage in a dark area. 3 and a half days later i weight my buds. From 12 grams wet it shrunk to 2.9 grams. I cant use the snap stem technique becuase i trimed off every bit of stem and left only buds.

i hang dry mine for 4 days and its ready for smoking..

if they are crispy dry on the outside but when you squeeze them you can feel a bit of moisture in the centre they are ready to start curing....

The stems inside the cola is still green and kinda bends but dosent snap. However the buds are feeling crispy from the outside. Mabe if i left it in colas instead of individual budlets the bottom stem would mabe snap

wat wass the temp in the garage and wass it well ventaledted

a littile below room temp so about 70- 73, and to keep the humidity down so they will dry fatser

I wouldn't go colder than 60ish.

cold temps arnt good for drying as for the moisture will stay in the bud to long and cause mold

but dont warm enviorments make a good home for bacteria, so if i kept it cooler it would make it harder form the bacteria to thrive

Three days might be enough to transition to the curing process depending on the environment you're drying in. Do the buds feel spongy but dry on the outside? If so start curing. Just curious, your dry weight after three days off the whole plant was only 2.9 grams? Do you mean 2.9 Oz?

My biggest nug was 13 grams wet and dried to 2.9 grams in 3 days. Total harvest of pure buds was 147 grams wet and 37 grams dry. During the cure i would open it every couple of hours to feel the lid for mousture i felt none so they looked dry enough for curing.

Quick question when you smoke a 3 day cured bud is it sapposed to taste like saop? Or flavorless weed? I was exspecting a hint of pine since its kush but it taste like soap or flavorless weed with a good high
