Iron Deficiency?

As soon as I saw your pic's from that very moment I immediately thought it was Sulfur deficiency and that they needed Epsom salts. Mainly because of this.
"Unlike a magnesium deficiency where it starts from the leaves tip and around, sulfur starts from the back of the leaves on forward to the middle of the leaves.".

I transplanted affected plants today into new dry soil as the other Black Gold soil was water logged and they were not drinking it. I used 1 TBSP or 15 ml's per gallon of water; Is that too much? I have read anywhere from 1/4 tsp to 2 tbsp per gallon. I only fed them one cup of the solution though as not to water clog the soil again. I also added Age Old Grow and Seaweed to the mix.

The Epsom salts you mean? I don;t even know what is recommended but that's what I used, was 1 Tbsp per gallon and I saw no I'll effects it was all positive effects, I used 1 Tbsp per gallon and that's when I gave all the other nutes/supplements too and it still wasn't over doing it, at least not for me. That's why I don;'t think you gave enough before. my went green in just 2-3 days, yours are more yellow though but mine were yellowing in the same spot as yours.

Here is a pic of my plant's just like 2 days after giving them all the things I listed before. They greened up[ real quickly. You can still see some lighter green areas that show where the yellowing was. They continued getting even more green for the following few days or so.

Cool. Glad to hear you also used 1Tbsp per gallon. Do you have any pics when plants were at their worst? Will the old yellow leaves green up or just the new growth?

Everything got really green for me, but I was on to it early too. Just remember what to look for and you will catch it early next time as well.

Mine were never in bad shape, I just wanted them to green up more before going into bloom. The worst they looked was when there was light green color on the way to yellowing from the base of the leaves toward the middle of the leaves. The pics I do have you can;t tell that much about their actually color because it was under HPS light.

If you want to go see my grow log for my current grow you can just click the B in the box on my avatar, it will take you to my grow journal and in the journal there is a link I provided to my thread for a grow log. My grow log also shows some pic's and video
s from some of my other grow's.

At first look, very impressive. Going to read it through over the holiday. Funny, just found the Blue Dream and may start working with it. How is the yield per plant?

This is my first time growing this cut of Blue Dream and other than that the only time I grew a different Blue Dream was under LED and it wasn't the best grow. I have nothing worth mentioning about yield of Blue Dream yet, but I should get a decent yield out of this grow.

You know what I really want to grow, Or even If I'm not the one growing it, I would like to see Orange Crush come back, I recall it was some fire. Blue Dream is Blue Berry x Super Silver Haze, and Orange Crush is Cali-O (California Orange Bud) x Blue Berry. I might have to start breeding and bring back that Orange Crush.

That would be nice. I just finished working with Blue Berry and enjoyed it very much but now onto Bubble Gum which is a nice tasting and beautiful strain.

Things turned around in 2 days. Some leaves regained their green color while some still are yellow from inside out. Should I continue to give epsom salts to the yellow ones until they become green again or will this create salt buildup with the epsom salts?

As far as I know you keep feeding 1 tbsp per gallon once a week till the plant is green again.
If you are concerned about too much salt, then you could feed it less Epsom salt. If I was you I
would probably just give it one more Tbsp per gallon this week and then back off from feeding it any more
epsom salts for a while and just keep an eye on it.
If you catch it sooner next time then hopefully you will only need to give it salts once and then keep an eye on it.

OK, thanks for the suggestion. Mostly all have returned to green color and are growing new shoots. However, now I am experiencing (1) leaf curl up which I am attributing to hot temps. I am using CO2 and high temp last night was 88. Also I am experiencing (2) brown blotches on the leaves. See below pics. Could this be mg deficiency still? Or both symptoms from heat stress?

At first look, if it was my plant I would think this is heat stress and light burn. But heat stress usually causes the leaves to have more a taco rolled up look, Or if you roll your tongue, the leaves should be rolled or cupped more and not just the edges if it was heat stress. From the pic I can't really tell if the leaf is rolling or just the edges are looking weird. If its just the edges it might be something else. Another thing that can give that light burn look is wind burn. I have one plant this grow near a tower fan and its leaves have been getting burned from the fan. Wind is good and plants seem to like quite a but of good air flow but just like light over do it and they can get burned. Leaf 2 defiantly looks a lot darker. I hope its not nute burn from too much Epsom salt.

If mine looked like that I would raise the lights, and check my ducting, make sure the inline fans have enough air flow.
It sounds like you are already on top of that seeing how you said you attribute the leaf curl to hot temps.
