Iranian Short Season

a friend of mine grew this strain and came by with some last night. harvested most the first week of july and got about 6-7 ounces each. according to him a couple finished earlier with a bit less yield and one of them is still going but the other 16 all are done. what i smoked was right up there with the most potent smokes i've ever had.

I.S.S. is a short flowering pheno of Endless Sky by Dr Greenthumb. For the short flowering period you give up some yield but the potency stays the same. Some people who review the strain say ES is the strongest indica they've had. I.S.S. is a good outdoor plant that will finish in August, Doc is a top shelf breeder and runs a 4 star business. In the upper-middle range for prices.

yes but I am told the biggest yields are realized in late june early july harvests. i'm telling you; i just had a piece of what my buddy left me and for my money its more potent than endless sky

Have you had Endless Sky as well? Greenthumb answered a few questions by email a while back and told me basically what I wrote above, ISS would be to ES as Cheese is to Skunk #1 - but with flower time and yield being changed rather than potency or cheesy taste. I often grow two plants of the same strain, side by side, and one will be more potent than the other. I haven't had either ES or ISS yet but I'm going to pick up ES when I want a heavy indica stone.

I'm suprised that ISS is even as potent as ES, I thought that Dr Greenthumb was being generous to his new strain for marketing. Good to know.

thanks biggybuds and hobbes for discussing this...have also been VERY interested in the docs ISS for a while now. looks like this strain would be great for my climate...however, i was planning on buying a pack and keeping a mother around in my home this winter, so that I get a good amount of clones for the next outdo' season...Docs description reads "NOT SUITABLE FOR INDOOR GROWTH" (because of the 5-6week flower period maybe..?)

any insight as to whether i should omit that and try a mum anyway, and if not why it is not suitable indoors?
