Iranian autoflower...

I have not grown it, but this is what I've gathered from lots of reading:

-Strain isn't a true "autoflower", in that it can be maintained in vegetative growth indefinitely under 18+ hours per day of lighting. Instead, this is one of the "early flowering" plants that will start to flower with only 9 hours of darkness. In practice, this means the strain will flower when placed outdoors in most places like a conventional autoflower, but it also means the strain can be maintained as a "mother" plant and cloned.

-Its offers good potency and yield.

-Seeds are spendy.

-Greenthumb offers feminized seed only. That might be because he doesn't have a male, and this really is "clone only" for him. Or he may be trying to prevent people from knocking off this strain. My guess is the former.

-Supposedly this strain is highly similar to another one called "Guerilla Gold #3", and some have alleged that its the exact same strain, but Greenthumb "stole" then renamed it. In any case, it seems implausible to me that this is really a Persian strain.

I have grown both and they are quite different

thats makes at least 3 different strains people claim are the same as the Iranian...you all need to get together and get the story straight.lol. too much!!!

no offense dr gruber,but when a breeder lies as much as greenthumb you cant help but to believe the stories....nuff said!
and if you do your research you will easily see that the bad reports out number the good reports of his strains at least 3-1

no offense taken.
But i gotta say thats not really accurate. I have done plenty of research and i do not see what you see. If you just look at the threads on this site where people chime in about their Gthumb experiences the good reports outweigh the bad by at least 3-1 or more. I think you just have it backwards.

Don't really see many negative reports on his strains,usually just people complaining over price but that's no problem withKushiro just ordered the Iranian chemdawg for outdoors this season,shipping was free and no need to worry about international shipping,especially since a friend grew out his chem4 and bubba og and found 4 definite keepers out of two packs,only bad part is he had to get rid of his indoor grow for several months,I'll be ordering is chem4,sour d,and og kush should be some fire in those seeds

It's always best to find the facts out for one's self.
There are always going to be people who just love
gossip band wagons, and believe anything they are told.

Ive spent a lot of money on greenthumbs seeds,
but if I was unhappy, I simply wouldn't keep buying them.
if I believed the haters, I would have missed out on fire.

all i know is i see way more negatives than positives...and im online evry day....go to ic mag or unleash da green....or better yet ask big respected breeders what they think of him....especially chimera and shanti.

    dude prolly bought a few packs and found that one that stays in veg with 20 or more light and selfed the shit out of it...i have the pics if you want to see to compare for yourself...then do research on manitoba medicine.
    id bet my bottom dollar thats exactly what it is....

    oh and i thought greenthumb lost the parent of endless sky,one of which is iranian....so how could he make a light sensitive version?
    why the hell do you guys support a liar and a thief for?doesnt make sense to me no matter whether his strains are good or not..its a principal thing....

    i dont want these type of people doing any kind of business in my country!PERIOD!​
