iPonic 600

I recently got an iponic 600 and really like it. My only other experience with a controller is the Sentinel CHHC-4. The iponic can obviously do a lot more than the CHHC-4 and it's an all around beefier controller. From the sensor to the control panel, it's the real deal. I'd say the only downside is that it's not as beginner/user friendly as the CHHC-4. It will definitely take me a while to discover all of the iponic's bells and whistles. :-)

I have been running the iponic 600 for almost a year now. I have to say IT IS NOT READY FOR THE MARKET. Look guys, if you want an expensive toy that can turn your lights on, or that you can see the conditions of your room with via the web (instead of a $70 webcam) then by all means buy one. But if you really want to control an environment this thing isnt ready. Its buggy, randomly activates opposing equipment, I have had 2 units fail, and there have been times when it just stopped sending info to the cloud and just shut down. This all may be fine if you have a tent or a closet, but if you really want to remotely monitor or control a room... random malfunctions can cause very expensive mistakes. I have been patient and tried to work with the manufacturer but bottom line this isnt rocket science. We are talking about basic programming and a bunch of relays. I'd say give them a few years and if they are still around... try it out.
