So did anyone tell him that Flashlight 2.0 came out? I just harvested a lb of pot off a 3 foot tall bush using ipod's flashlight 2.0 and a picture of my arse.

no joke. if the light keeps falling down over and over and eventually breaks your leaf would you wana keep it under a unstable light that could fall and kill your plant or would you want to just switch to lights that will grow it better and not fall down and crush your plant? the answers obvious. the experiment was over anyways the plant had stayed that way for a few weeks so i figured it must not be enough light anymore. but thanks for the input and you were half right because it EVENTUALLY wasnt enough light but it worked for a little while.

i was using it in a pc grow box. if i thought about trying it from seed on 12/12 i prolly would have done that.

So the person that learns from thousands of years of human development in the field of agriculture is retarded...but the person attempting to grow with an ipod is brilliant? lmao. A) Inefficiency. Let's say that it was the correct spectrum of light...how many lumens/watts are you getting from your ipod touch? B) Durability. How many continuous hours can flashlight work before irreversible screen burn in or outright failure occurs? C) Ok you have it on a timer...when the power goes off...you'd have to turn it back on manually. (hmmm maybe that should've gone under efficiency) D) People are mocking you because you deserve it. I've read some truly ridiculous stuff on these boards...but this idea might just be the worst of all time.

No I wouldn't. I would hang it up properly so it doesn't "fall", I even gave you a pic, was for laughs, but you coulda done that way. Yeah I knew it was enough for a week, so is a 40W light bulb...

Its a freaking experiment, why is everyone making such a big deal out of this? I hope someone would go from seed to harvest with a cellphone light as an experiment, while it would surely be an inefficient waste, it would be interesting one for sure. Sometime I wonder what spectrum of light my LCD monitor throws out, at first I was paranoid about having it on with my grow tent on the other side of this little room! I hear about people growing their plants with Christmas lights, so why not a cellphone light?

i was using it in a pc grow box. if i thought about trying it from seed on 12/12 i prolly would have done that.

Im still not sure if this thread is a joke or not yet...but you know seedlings can grow without light because they have stored up carbohydrates in the seed with them? So no, the iPod's only function in this was so you could see the plant in the dark..I guarantee it didnt help it grow AT ALL.

Lumens are a measure of light power as perceived by the human eye. Our vision is best at an average wavelength of 550 nanometers (nm), the yellow to green portion of the color spectrum. Go and look at the pic it's on page 13 I think idk. Does that look like a seedling? Noopeit has more then 2 nodes it was offically in veg when the iPod decided to fall and take off a leaf. The guy with the Sony erricison phone or watevr u tricked the shit outta me wit that pic lol I'll admit it but I had it some what like that but with a fan blowing the ropes that held it it had no defense and I ddnt. Wana turn the fan off bcuz I wanted a thick stem

I put my plant into 12/12 5 days ago with my new phone light and it's not growing!!!! Wtf guys, whats wrong? Is it the wrong spectrum or do i not have enough lumens? I don't know how you guys do it, i don't think i'm doing it right :(
