should be working fine.
4x vero 29c @ 1x MW 320-1050
305volt output from driver / 67volt(vero29c) = 4,55
.

Do You think adding a extra citizen clu48-1212 to it will work? I came up in 304.6V in total.
4x67+36.6=304.6

I want to build 3 fixtures and One fixture Will have 3 high cri 1212 in the mix.

Anyone know the efficiency of the CLU058-1825 COB at 120w? I'm assuming it's below 50%. I've also noticed the light engine with this COB comes with a LEDiL Angelina reflector, however I can't seem to find a part number that is designed for the CLU058. Is the CobKits light engine using a reflector designed for a different family of Citizen COBs?

Here's the chart he put out in Sept, with his best guesses at efficiency (until we get some data from that new testing sphere)

yay all orders placed friday or earlier are shipped except for #529 (international heat sink order- going out monday) and those with light engines (thanks for your patience- all 1825 will be built this weekend and shipped monday)

those with 3618 light engines, i should have those chips end of next week for assembly next weekend

Dumb question of the day. Me Sorry. In a parallel setup using a H185. It is giving 35 v across all Cobs. My Amp reading at terminal intake is 1 amp. Does that mean each Cob is getting 333Ma or is each getting the full 1amp? I apologize for my ignorance.

for veg only i recommend 20W/SF (~640W total) and a higher color temp

you can do it with 4 of these @ 160W ea:
https://cobkits.com/product/clu058-1825-light-engine-single/
i have those chips in 6500k and have all parts in stock to get you up and running in a week

or 12-24 of these @ 25-50W ea:
https://cobkits.com/product/citizen-clu048-1212-80cri-choice-of-color-temps/
i have the chips in 5000k, 5700k, and 6500k, but heatsinks are 2 weeks out.

Thanks for the quick reply. Which driver/drivers would I need for the 4 clu058's? I would want to go as high as 6500k? thanks again.

im not sure what you mean by terminal intake

is it 1A measured across 1 cob or 1A measured across 4 cobs (a pic or drawing would help)

that driver puts out a little over 4A when turned all the way up

Using your lever terminals I get 1 amp off the hot lead going into terminal. Current of 1 amp feeds 3 cobs. They are in a 1.7 sqft cabinet. Using RIU calculator 3 @ 1 amp provides enough power. Is that per Cob or total?

if theyre in series it will split per cob so 333 mA. id like to see a drawing of how youre measuring because i dont think that driver can be turned down to 1000 mA.

Hey CobKits,

I am a grower looking to relace my lights in my 10x10x8 room in my garage. I have little knowledge of LEDs and if you could poi t me in the right direction i would really appreciate it!

if its working well for you id replace it with a rig that could run up to the same wattage but would normally operate at about 70% of wattage. you can start there and have room to go up or down in intensity.

usually when you get into larger areas like that the bigger chips are the easiest. whats your skill level? would you rather have plug and play, do assembly, or do fabricating (drilling/tapping of bars)

I would much rather have plug and play. I have been intrested cobs for a while but have been limites because ido know how to fabricate my own rigs

Sorry my mistake. That what I get for driving at night and getting my copilot to text. The amperage being put out by driver is 1 amp. it is split among three 1212s. Just read amperage on single COB it was .3335. So 35V COB at .333MA is putting out 11.6 Watts? Good thing just Veging in there. I bumped it up to 700MA per COB total output from driver 2.111. for 24.5 watts per COB. Is that enough for 1.6 SQft? Please don't laugh Im no artist.

75W is a lot of light for vegging in 1.5 sq ft, the 35W you had in there before turning it up was probably enough (and would be very efficient)

Could I do 6 of the clu058's and run them at 2.1, would 2 of the 320 2.1 amp drivers run 3 each then? Will be in a 5 x 9 tent for veg only.

If so would you put together a package with 6 6500k clu58's and 2 of the meanwell 320 2100mah drivers. Also whatever else I need so I can dim them as well.. pm me with a paypal invoice with the best price you are able to do? thanks again!
