interrupting dark cycle during flowering

I am a week into flowering and I need to water/feed my plants, but I have to be at the hospital (girlfriend is being induced into labor to have our child) at the same time the lights come on. If I take them out to feed them will it have significant adverse effects on the plants to let them get light this early on?

Absolutely not. If it's just for a quick feeding, you'll be fine. If you took them out of the dark cycle like once every day for a week, then you would really start to have some issues, but if it's just once, you'll be fine. Grats on the baby.

No headlamp and thanks for the help. It'll take 45 mins to do it and it's real ambient end of the day light. I'm gonna hop on it.
Cheers

You can get away with a certain amount of this, but it can be strain dependent and in my experience is relevant to how much light leaks happen in the dark (no light leaks and the plant will stress more). I go in with a green headlamp to water and in my experience, the plant in front of the door is likely to throw a nanner from just minimal exposure to ambient light. 45 minutes is a long time to be out of the "dark".

If you're able to water them inside the house with the lights off or the garage with the doors shut it would be better for the plants. Worst case they will stretch more and take a bit longer. Doubtful they would hermi.
