Intake fan question?

Does an intake fan help cool the tent if it's very hot outside? Or do I just have to buy an air conditioner? Right now I'm using a passive intake.

Only if you're getting cooler air, like air-conditioned or get mine from under the house.

If the outside air is cooler it will. Are you already using a fan to exhaust heat?

It can be for sure if the air is drier/cooler. I prefer to cool and reduce humidity with the intake, it's more efficient to bring in cooler/drier air than exhaust it. Most of the time my intake is on mid-to higher levels on the variable controller, while my exhaust is on minimum. If I do the opposite, there's a much lower limit to what my exhaust will exhaust in both heat and humidity.
