Most every job I have had post military has been skilled trade that required a lot of math or measuring.
It is one thing to mess up and miss cut boards on your own chicken coupe, another to mess up on company money.

In this particular instance it merely was an example.
People were bitching about the duggars. It was an observational point that it could be worse, at least they pay their own way.
And remember even people that home school their kids are supporting a service they don't use through taxes.

A "business open to the public" is an artificial construct made by, protected by and held in place by a coercive government.
The reason corporations or "business open to the public" were created was for cronyism to be exploited and to ensure that liability of the individual was hidden behind a legal screen.
Property by its very nature cannot be simultaneously owned by one entity, but then controlled by another or a group of others, it then becomes a self evident contradiction.
Some people think that intervention into another persons property right becomes acceptable when the coercive government does it,
