Insanely Concentrated Wealth Is Strangling Our Prosperity

So you have no problem with the Walton family, worth 150 billion dollars (and counting), paying their employees peanuts...so much so that the American taxpayer has to supplement their income in the form of Medicaid and food stamps? They're just good honest folks that are simply following the tax code, eh? No greed there folks! Hate the game, not the player.

Fuck that shit. They're greedy pigs that deserve to be called out.

Do you realize how much you sound like a Republican?
I sound like a Republican because I propose a progressive tax system (but without the seething prejudice)...?

Do you realize how much you sound like a retard?

I want to fund nationalized healthcare, free college, better welfare, etc so the plan I'd like to see would be even more "progressive" than what youd probably demand.

Trump isn't a greedy pig! He's just a wholesome, hard working American that has never fucked anyone over!

Don't hate on him folks!
If he broke the law, then charge him.

If the law needs to be changed then change it...

Merely crying about it gets noone anywhere but Democrats need to actually win first though and you morons are trying to split us up.

Sure you do. Which is why you stump for one of the most establishment politicians of all time, and shit all over the one candidate that is actually trying to implement the policies you claim to support.

Yeah, that makes total sense!

:dunce:

I supported Clinton because she seemed most likely to win (and she did with regards to votes) and not supporting her was de-facto support of Trump.

You can claim "blah blah blah" but we have a two party system and you need to get realistic.

Also, I don't support Sanders because he's a fake leftist. At least we all knew what to expect with Clinton.

And yet you sit in here every day and shit all over people that support the ONLY candidate that agrees 100% with the ideas that you claim to espouse?

Add to that the fact that you seem to see nothing wrong with billionaires greasing the palms of politicians so that they can tip the scale even more in their favor, and shit all over people that point that corrupt bullshit out.

I don't think you really know what it is that you stand for.

What are you talking about? There are no candidates running for president right now. Bernie is the senator from Vermont. He's not running for any office. Sanders did lose to Clinton by a whopping large margin in overall vote.

Ninja is correct. Sanders is not a leftist. Sanders says so himself. Do you want to argue about that? You will look foolish if you do.

Where does Ninja say or even imply this: Add to that the fact that you seem to see nothing wrong with billionaires greasing the palms of politicians so that they can tip the scale even more in their favor.

I think that's called a strawman argument, isn't it?

Sanders proposed nationalizing hospitals in a manner similar to the UK where anyone from any country can just walk in and get treated 100% completely free?

He proposed grabbing our universities by the balls and offering free college education for anyone who wants it?

And when did I say I have a problem with removing big money from politics? But the Republicans aren't going to do it, so it's why we need to win first.

And since you mentioned it, why did Justice Democrats specifically and intentionally register to take unlimited Corporate donations?

I bet we get more tumbleweed on that question.

Have you read the thread? Being intentionally obtuse? He said that people ripping on billionaires are being jealous bitches. "Hate the game, not the player" he says.

Apparently he fails to realize that these very same billionaires, like the Waltons, the Koch brothers, etc, are the very same people that work behind the scenes with corrupt politicians to further reduce their tax burden, and make their slice of the pie even bigger. He agrees that our tax system is unfair, and needs to change, but can't seem to connect the dots back to the very same people that caused this in the first place.

We all have to wear kid gloves with the poor billionaires! They have no blood on their hands!

I will patiently wait while you go retrieve a post from me where I have ever even mentioned "Justice Democrats", let alone threw any support behind them.

Hurry back before the tumbleweeds roll in....

I did read the thread and Ninja in no way was saying what you claimed. He was talking about placing focus on what to do instead of morality.
I simply say hate the game, not the player...so lets change the game and stop the crying.
He's also right about how we can't do anything until Republicans are no longer calling the shots.

So you agree with him then that people pointing out that billionaires are greedy, they fuck people over, and they manipulate the system are just being jealous little bitches?

Do you also agree with him that people like the Waltons, and the Kochs, who fuck over their employees, and grease politicians hands in an effort to accumulate even more wealth are blameless? We shouldn't hate the player, it's no fault of theirs. What exactly do you think "hate the game, not the player" means?!

Pease go on record with where you stand on this.

It's plain as day to me that these wealthy folks are 100% complicit in helping to create the very system of taxation that we have today that allows them to accumulate so much wealth and power. So yeah, I will carry on with hating the game AND the players involved. That includes the corrupt politicians in both parties that have facilitated this mess.

The "free" healthcare in the uk is a ruse, the clinical standards are far poorer than in the US, eg misdiagnosis for primary health care runs at 40%. This is due to lack of adequate central funding, however there is always money for bombs and new, redundant, aircraft carriers.

Blood on their hands?

Calm down, you're all emotional.

Need some chocolate and tampons?

I don't agree

I don't agree that Ninja said what you say he did.

Oh, and the healthcare bill doesn't say anything about soaking the rich to pay for healthcare for those who can't afford it. As far as tax plans go, Sanders talks big increases, or did, but doesn't deliver. His tax plans didn't help him much last year did it?

Hey, the Republican stooge is back! While I've got your attention...

Do you also believe the Republican theory of trickle down economics?

Did you find that post of mine where I stated my support for the "Justice Democrats"? The tumbleweed is blowing in squeaky...!

Why did you vote for him then Foggy? Especially considering that he's such a racist old coot (as you've pointed out)? Odd that someone who is such a champion for social justice would vote for someone espousing such racist positions!

By his fucked up logic:

•Pot smokers provide a market for cannabis
•Cartels and gangs supply it

Therefore pot smokers are to blame for Cartel violence.

A few.

So, clarify what you meant then by "hate the game, not the player"? Foggy and I aren't in agreement with what you meant.

Who's "the player" in your scenario. What's "the game"?
