Infa-red Plants

I was just wondering what sort of plants can the Infa-red Helicoptors can detect?? Someone told me poison oak, but thats all i know. Thanks for any help.

Um none.. They detect heat sources.. plants aren't a source of heat.

then why do helicoptors fly around with infa-red sensor things looking for plants?

umm i have read that marijuana plants give off a slightly different signature that can be detected by a trained eye.. i have watched doc's about the dea raiding/finding fields in cali etc. this only works outdoors though because they need to be in plain view. i couldn't tell a big dif from the doc that i was watching but when the dea guy pointed the marijuana patches out you could see the dif.. for anything checking a home/warehouse for a grow they look at the heat sig, in which case your grow room(s) would show a ton of heat from the lights but as far as the infa red saying what you are growing indoors you can't. as far as anyone would know, you could just have a hot room, an indoor garden of tomatoes etc..

ive seen a bunch of pics before with them flyin over even small patches with pics of bud. idk i was just wondering.

they fly around looking for heat coming off of houses that have grow ops. plants dont give off heat

yes if that was the case we would all be fucked,they look for heat signatures.

well then what are good plants to have next to your plants. i mean ones that are already out in the woods. something help camoflauge a little?
