I have 15 ladys in a 4x8 tent. I bought these grow lights from amazon. I have a total of 8 lights in that room. My humidity doesnt drop from 71 percent. Could it be the ladies are too crowded? Also i have them raised on a plastic pallet anybody have any ideas how i can lower my humidity? Im looking to get another tent possibly 4x8 if any one could give me their expert advice id really appreciate it

Buy a dehumidifier.

Whats the difference between a dehumidifier and a exhaust fan
Depends on the ambient humidity. If you are blowing air out then air comes in somewhere to replace it. How humid is that air? Here we have very low humidity most of the time in the lower 20's.

Know that cooling air increases the RH% and warming air decreases the RH%. It can be a big difference. It can be snowing outside at 5 degrees F and at room temperature that same air is extremely dry.

Also, if RH% is an issue, avoid fabric pots, they lose a lot of humidity to evaporation. Collect your drainage and don't let it sit on the floor. If you are trying to water and not get drainage you are asking for a salt buildup.

Im at 70 percent its dropping at the moment because we have the tent open. But i agree i probably need another fan extracting this air and getting it out of the tent

You need a dehumidifier. It pulls moisture from the air & collects it in a sump. When you have lots of plant material growing indoors it can raise humidity quite a bit. I run one 24/7 and empty it 2-3 times a day in the summer. You can use the water for your plants; it’s a win win. Get the biggest unit you can afford.

You NEED an exhaust fan. Plants need constant fresh air supply. You want all of the air to be exchanged ever 3-5 minutes in a tent. This video gives you the basic idea. https://www.acinfinity.com/pages/technical-guides/grow-tent-ventilation-guide.html

You leave the vents at the bottom of the tent open at all times and the exhaust fan pushing air out of the tent which will pull new fresh air in the vents. You are hours away from having a mold explosion in your tent. Leave the tent open until you get a proper exhaust fan in there.

If you want a cheaper brand get this

The carbon filters also remove virtually all odor.

You may also need a dehumidifier. Dehumidifers pull humidity out of the air.

My tent is currently running 35% humidity and its packed with plants no wasted space.
