Its been a busy month. Some new pictures and heres what has been completed/improved.

1. This is my arsenal of bulbs, one 60 watt 2700K, five 42 watt 2700K, a 26 watt 2700k, and at the top of the picture are two 65 watt 6500 K. Temps today were 84 in there so one 65 watter was pulled out now we are running 360 watts. I will check the temp again before I crash for the night.

2. Cleaning out my fan, here you can see that I basically unscrewed the two halves of the unit. Set the fan in place over the hole I cut in the top shelf and then screwed the halves on either side of the top shelf.

3. The black strip you see on the middle shelf allows more air flow , a passive ventilation system that pulls cool air up from the floor. The shelf has holes drilled in for the same reason and also so that any spills leak to the bottom rather than puddling up anywhere near electrical components.

4. This is a picture of the top shelf passive air up close

5. This is a home carbon filter I made. It is made from two register vent filters, active carbon poured in between and taped shut. These come with pre-bent sides that make a shallow box when folded so two taped together and Voila! Cheap, and it even has air freshener built in. See the pink dots in the mesh! Like $2 for the filters and eight to ten bucks for the activated carbon pellets. I lay the unit over the fans on top. The room smells great! LOL

6.Another pic up closer

7. The complete unit less the top. The exterior is black cloth and the inside of the cloth is lined with emergency blanket mylar. Once I put the fan back together, mylar was applied over the inside ceiling with spray adhesive and then slits were cut in the mylar over the fan housing inside. The front is closed with velcro across the front top edge and left side. The top is in the works.

I'm very close to replicating this grow. Where did you get the stuff to make the filter (activated carbon, and the filtering)?

I got my carbon in the pet department at Meijers. The filter materials also where the furnace filters are kept. by the way I am harvesting this coming weekend. I will post some pics. Looks to be atleast two oz off one plant.

That harvest looks pretty good.
Time will tell. I quick dried a few nugs and like any shit thats rushed, it did the deed in a tasteless manner. She smells loverly on the rack but we been getting some strange weather so it may take a bit of a cure.:weed:

re-vegged what do you mean? like after u harvest u put it back into veg to begin again? i have 2 plants so i agree keep it low number but the closet is a fine place to grow if you dont need to worry about people seeing some light. i love the plant, could you take some birds eye pics at all. id love to see all those tops and what the buds look like. my plants just sexed today so flowering begins now. i put into 12/12 1 week and 4 days ago though. id like to seal off my closet for light but dont know what to use. before i used cardboard but i dont have anymore and it leaked light like crazy. what type of black out are you going to be using?

stay up old coot, and 47s not bad my dad is 49

Yes, re-veg.....this will be my third try. I had a closet last two grows but live in small quarters with a female......SO THERE IS NO CLOSET SPACE! My basement grow cab uses black out curtain around the shelf with velcro seal closure. The top is a flat board in black with a short curtain stapled around it, also made from black cloth that hides light coming from the top out. It just sits over the top with some small legs attacked to allow the fan to disperse the air and heat.

You could simply staple or tack a cloth to the inside top of your closet to block light there and also to the bottom of the door on the inside. Use sticky back foam to seal the door. Just some simple ideas.

Sorry no macro shots.......the buds are drying now. I call this Hot Stuff....but as it is curing, I am pretty sure its NY Diesel.

sounds good i cant wait to say the same thing! sooooo impatient now!
LOL..I know that feeling...heres some fresh pics of freshly picked:weed: This stuff is a bit wispy, not so many solid nugs and despite the hermi seeds, two bong rips and this shit gives you a count down to launch!bongsmilie
Tastes very different than standard street weed, fresh of course, but dankity dank dank like a skank rather than skunk! LMAO...nice buzz!

My reveg is lookin shaky...but oddly enough the second plant that I rarely talked about, of this same batch of seeds, is doing really well and my two clones are already 12/12 and should be ready in about 4 weeks, based on how fast the heavily LSTed plant matured. The two buds in the pic came from plant #2. The curing jars are making it better each day.
