Indoor grow HELP

I'm looking for a few strains (TIPS) for my second time grow and (HELP) with my grow setup


To start my box It has flaws which cause the temps to sometimes soar into the mid (90's degrees F ) during the day and drop down to the (LOW 80's degrees F) at with my LED LIGHTS on, what's strain or strains would you recommend for this kind of environment and what modifications would you also do to help with the HEAT ISSUE ?


BOX: is 6ft x 4ft x 2ft
2 exhaust fans and 1 Intake, all 3 the same size, 1 ocilating fan


Fans are 120mm In size

Look for a Sativa strain that is easy to grow. Learn about low stress training the plants (lst).

Get an inline fan. Around 400cfm should do you right. They're loud AF btw so plan on building a sound proofing case for the motor. They're around 120$ for the fan and filter combo. It'll get rid of smells too.

Mainlining is a good technique to ensure even canopy and goes well with LST.

Are you going for sheer yield? Ease of growth? You could do an auto ultimate or auto critical. They're heavy yielders in short amounts of time. 3Oz is common. Sour diesel is a heavy yielder too. Humboldt seeds has a good sour d auto. Steer clear of the blue dream, blue berry genetics are skimpy

Idk how concerned you are about smell too. This is what i have. You're pic is a fan that goes in between ducting sections to decrease the air's resistance. Pretty much speeds it up. I mean if you don't care about smell then yea that'd probably help. Inline fans, like the ones im suggesting, are super turbo strong and your air intake can be just some holes in the base of your box. It'll put negetive pressure in the box, or in other words, a big ass vacuum.

Mines super loud like i said before. I'm in the market for some sound proofing.

For 30$, though, you could get a small/tabletop AC unit. Nothing spectacular and would have to come from the salvation army but nonetheless is an AC haha.

I've heard a few of ppl say thst booster fans like that are junk. Iv never used 'em so idk for sure.

The smell is a not so big a concern but if I went with a table top AC, would I need to run a duct into the cabinet or can I just put it inside and let run on the same cycle as the lights

Or what about humidifiers, would that help with lowering the temp?

I got referred to the ICYBREEZE PORTABLE AC as a possible solution,what's your take on this.

it seems expensive versus more airflow through the box but would definitely be the most straight forward approach.. where is the box located? attic, garage? if it's in a room with the option of using the houses AC then the stronger fan will pull more fresh AC'd air into the box. if the room outside the grow box itself is hot as fuck then get the AC unit.

humidifiers are either steam or ultrasonic. id steer clear of the humidfier, heat or vribration induced... unless you actually need an increase of RH, it'd likely cause more issues like PM or bud rot.

The box is in garage with a cieling fan on 24/7 to keep air moving and the door keep open at night and normally closed during the day

oh well shit... yea ...........that's going to need an AC unit and maybe some insulation on the garage door to save you from heatsinking the outside temps into your garage.. sorry haha

By any chance do you have a link to any table top units that might do the job

i have one of these. got it from Lowe's but needs an exhaust to separate the hot and cool... but if you can fit it or something like it into your room then you can spuirt the hot air into the garage and recycle the box's air. id.go down to your department store. itll save you time and shipping costs. that one might be overkill, i use it in the studio which is just a single wide sized barn with windows.
