Indoor grow: Am I paranoid? Can I be safer? How much is too much?

So I been doin my thing for a while and recently I got into a situation that allowed me to kinda step my shit up so to speak.

I got a big room with the following equpiment:

Light Rail 5 with 1k
Light rail 3 with 600 (might swap to 1k)
400 watt MH for the veg

I have plants in dirt, and plants in home made aeroponics/top feed bins.

In addition to the lights, I am running

4 pumps
2 fans
2 exhaust 6" sunleaves fans
Big Phresh filter for the smell.. does a great job.

I got the air coming in from a basement level half window. If you get up close you can hear the fan pulling air. It's in the back of a fenced in yard.

I don't live at the house. But I am just constantly worried about it. How much is too much? The bills get paid on time. Should I worry? Relax? I feel like it's a lot of power, but I know ppl do bigger things.

I just need someone to tell me it's gonna be all good, I know there are no guarantees, I just want to be safe, and if that means unplugging some stuff and reducing the over all numbers, then so be it.

The light movers really let me get a lot of plants going and to be honest it's just kind of intimidating to step back and look at what I've created. If any seasoned vets can tell me some guide lines I'd be thankful.

It's not being paranoid when people are really getting busted, and starting fires everyday! Also growing in a place your not living is just dumb, for so many various reasons.

As long as you keep things to yourself and get those billed paid on time, you should be fine. The electric companies are typically only worried about getting their pay.

Only thing I'd be worried about is that fact that you don't live there, and therefore are unable to know what's going on 24/7.

I have a little 300w grow goin IN my bedroom constantly under my watchful eye and i get paranoid just going to work for 9 hours a day. It comes with growing a controlled substance and it wont go away, i think its healthy and keeps me on my toes. use your worry and doubt to your advantage , let it force you to constantly check up and make sure everythings fine :bigjoint:

Don't be so paranoid ! There's ppl that use more power
then that and they not even growing!!! I never once heard
a door got kick down for using to much power! Now not
being able to tender the things every moment is scary ,

a lot of people get there houses broken into and they live there. i have a set up 8 miles from my house (i have kids)and dont have no worrys just because you live at the address does not make it any more safe. so the the op just relax make the house safe keep it secret and its all good(tho this is just my opinon) tho the only downside i found to this is having to cycle in the rain (like last night :()

Dude, just install a web-cam and monitor it from anywhere. You will always be paranoid; but the fact that you are, means that you are not stupid and are very unlikely to get caught. You have nothing to worry about as long as you worry. :D

Yeah the best thing to do in a grow house is to setup webcams on a computer that runs 24/7 and remotely monitor the cams. You can also use the neightboors wifi connection ;)

Cops can't get a warrent for the house with just electricity alone. It ususally comes with a large amount of smell and/or suspition of stealing electricity.

something else you may like to know is that most elec companies allow 1000watts per room of your house before any suspicions are raised.

how many rooms in the house?

3 bedrooms ? theres 3000watts or 3kwh per hour
kitchen ? another 1000watts per hour
living room ? another 1000watts per hour already we're upto 5kw per hour.

you get the idea.
