Indoor Clone Cultivation

So I'm currently caring for some plants that are mine and some that are just visiting.

I'm caring for some Green Crack clones, I'm unsure of how old they are, I'm guessing maybe a month or less. I planted these in a temporary garden mix for now just because they were root bound. They are going in smart pots, Ocean Forest dirt and eventually inside.

On Monday (02/17/14) I got some clones from Harborside in Oakland - 15 Fire OG, 5 Blue Frost and 5 Candy Kush. I planted them with a tiny amount of RapidStart in a soil mix of 75% Ocean Forest and 25% Organic Garden blend.

I initially put them in my 3 x 5 secret jardin tent with my newly bought 1000w light (HPS bulb***). They did well at first but got light burn and looked overly stressed. I switched them to my smaller 3 x 2 secret jardin tent with a T5, humidifier, and classical music. They look better.

*** I bought a Hortilux Blue 1000w bulb for my tent which lasted a whole day before it seemed to just stop working and never turn back on. $160 and excitement wasted. But minus light burn issue, seemed to be effective.

So the GC foster girls are in the 1000 watt tent - still looking light burnt, but I can't raise they light anymore. Dimming it seems to help a little (I know it's bad for the bulb but it's inexpensive so I don't care) but I still think it's too close... Dilemma :( I don't want to get another light/tent but I guess I might have to. Other than that, expectedly small slow growth for the strain this person usually has. Otherwise as good as can be expected I guess.

I have air from an inline fan and ducting coming from an open window. I've heard powder mold is unavoidable with fresh air (??) so some sort of filter seems like the way to go. But what.

Today I watered them with filtered ph 6.3* water with hygrozyme, roots organic grow and a little foliage pro. I foliar sprayed all plants yesterday with no lights on.

So… now I wait for correspondence with a lame hydro store in Florida to get a refund/exchange for my MH bulb.

1000w might be a little too much light for clones. I'm only on my third grow but I've had excellent luck with veg'ing under a t5 and not using any nutes until I noticed a deficiency and only watering when the pots get light. I grow in roots organic original and 707.

Hell Na T's..I use a 1000w just pull them in and out like 2to4 hours at a time,,then at night just i put them in the bathroom with the light on or outside in the shade if ya can..most of the time clones from the club burn anyway no matter what soil you use...LOL ,,,they have to get used to the new soil or food and a new light so be easy on them gurls....
