Hey all, this is my first indoor stealth grow i will be doing. Ive had one previous attempt with outdoor that was not successful.
I grabbed some seeds from nirvana and marijuana-seeds-canada, CH9 Aroma fem and some Auroura Indica. Before i start my journal post i would like to throw a shout out to YeahRight for the help he has given me throughout his grow! Thanks again dude!

we will start off with my cabinet i have for germinating and the lil gals inside.

Oct 22nd, 2009
-Germinated 3 seeds, 2 auroura indica's and 1 fem ch9 aroma indica. seeds took about 2 days until they sprouted. One of the aurora's had a very large root, measured to be just over an inch long!!! she must be itching to get into some soil!

Oct 23nd 09
-planted the 3 seeds into some pre soaked shultz soil, and the pics are from today

will be keeping the lights on for about 24 hrs for a few days to help develop some good roots!!

Please, if anyone has any comments, suggestions or questions feel free to chime in! this is my first grow and i can use all the pointers you vets have! thanks again for your time people muchly appreciated!
Ps. i see how growing can get addicting!!! i could watch these lil girls grow all day long!!!

watsup man! only suggestion i have is to switch out that cfl on the left with a more blueish(higher kelvin rating), 6500K would be good, should look similar to the one on the right when turned on.... other than that good luck! hopefully u got some ventilation in that grow box? let me know if u have any questions throughtout the grow, ill subscribe incase u need a hand.
good luck! :leaf:

hey Flynlow, thanks for the imput, i switched that 2700 for a 6500, there is air flow behind the box, a small fan. This cabinet will be used for germinating and then i will put the ladies into my veg/flowering space when ready.
i'll post some pics later on in the day!
:weed:happy token!!!

So today we have some new growth in the cabinet.

Pics below are of today, you can see some growth in the ch9 ( 1st n 2nd pic right side )which was lopd sided after loosing her shell, she is now upright and soaking up the light, Same with the big root aurora(left side), as i mentioned she had a very big root after germinating.

Question, i have noticed my smaller aurora is growing upright and trying to lose her shell(3rd pic), but it seems to be still hiding out inside, should i be worried?? do they ever have trouble loosing the rest of the seed shell? i will monitor this over the next few days, also, would reflectors be beneficial for my lil space right now?? i have the inside of the cab lined with reflective duct tape

The other pics are the cab i will be switching to when its time for veg/flower.
The other pic is my lil munchkin who is always checking out what's going!

Hey guys, updating the journal tonight.

As i stated yesterday, i was a bit worried about my lil gal who was starting to get rid of her shell, but it seemed to be stuck on, well i gave the shell a lil flick with a pin today and sure enough it fell right off. I will be watering tonight, i usually give about a bottle cap worth per pant to ensure i do not over water.
I also have started to seal the cabinet edges of my veg/flower chamber so light wont escape, and using reflective duct tape while doing so. Anyone have a successful method of sealing the edges/doors of a cabinet?? i was thinking maybe like a silicone sealant, but not too sure, and info is greatly appreciated.
Please feel free to chime in with questions or comments!

silicon sealer should do the trick, gotta love that reflective ductape though. comes in handy. also just incase u didnt poke some holes in the bottom of those cups so the water can drain through if u havent already

Hey guys, updating the grow, its been a day or two!

defiantly some new growth over the past few days, and the veg/flowing cabinet is almost finished, wired up the pc fans, 2 80mm, plan on adding a carbon filter when the time comes! Picked up some activated carbon from walmart, and get this, it was priced 3.99, when it rang through at .03! yes thats correct! 3 cents! hah!!! love it!!!!! too bad everything at walmart didnt ring through like that!!!

Well, looks like big root and ch9 are developing new leaves! the other plant is still very small, did a nice watering today and im going to give the plants a 6 hour nap for the first time tonight! temps have been holding steady at about 78-84 degrees!! cant wait to slap these babies in the new grow cab! As always, any comments, questions or advise is always appreciated!
New pics below! :bigjoint:

I use the black carbon filter sheets for like hepa filters, you can get them at walmart, home depot. Just tape them over the PC fan. They dont restrict airflow too much and double as a bonus odor remover.

Grows looking great. Keep it up.
