Indoor 882 sq ft BASEMENT

Hi. I am setting up a project with an experienced team (in a basement approx 882 sq ft). With experience comes stubbornness. I am someone who is always open minded but the "team" has their set ways. House has 200 amps. They state they can set up only 35 1000k lights with 3 ac's.

1) Any suggestions if/how 40-45 can be put up? The home will have a fourth AC but will dedicated to family use.

2)How many plants do you recommend? I was thinking 70-80 in 15 or 20 gallon buckets in soil. What are your thoughts of yield?
3) My goal is to have at least 60-70 lbs. is this possible?
Family will utilize normal electric needs. Garage is available if any additional suggestions.

I cant contribute anything to this but i would extremely appreciate seeing a pictured build and grow thread from you .

I agree with your "project team" 35 1000w lights on a dedicated 200 amp feed is pushing hard, plus A/C and/or water chillers, fans and carbon filters, etc.....

1) so you are asking 40-45 lights? and fourth feed?...what's this? 4 separate feeds from the power pole (or underground)?

2) in soil... many would consider hydro with that big of an operation...as for yield, about a pound per plant

3) if you only want 60-70 pounds then only grow 60 to 70 one pound plants..simple

The power draw will throw up red flags with the power company. Are you in a legal state?

I mean the fourth AC would be just for the actual home (not to be used for grow room).

I agree with you of going hydro. I've done hydro before but this team doesn't know that type of setup, so I'm stuck with soil.

The 35 lights alone would use roughly 150 amps...this is too big for a home. Especially if there are people living in the home also.

What you would you need to do is call the electric company and ask them What their max amperage in your area is. If they say 400 amps then you can replace your load panel to accommodate the extra amps. However if they say 200 amps, maybe ask them to if they could run another 200 amp line to a separate load panel for your grow. Any work down must use a qualified electrician to hook up load panels and run wire. imo

how many 1000 watt lights are you going to use? are you going with soil or hydro?

keep us posted with some pic's and details of your setup/grow

24 in basement, 16 in garage. Soil.

I'm assuming you have lower your expectations on the yield, as pulling off 60 to 70 pounds with only 40 x 1000 watt bulbs could be a challenge

achieving a pound per plant is not impossible but is not an easy task....everything needs to go perfect

my goals would be to grow them as healthy as possible, and let the final yield be whatever it is...other words, don't count the money until the dealing is done

What strain or strains?

If you shoot for 1/2 lb. per plant and get more in the end, you won't be disappointed. Consider doing your ladies in "Coco Hempy Buckets" instead of soil. Your final outcome would be a lot better. Best of luck my friend. I'll be watching this one!

Guy sold all of them to me as "Daywrecker"......but as they are getting bigger I am pretty sure not ALL of them are the same. I would say 40-50 are one kind....and the other 24 are a different kind. Sucks you can't trust people too much now a days....but (fingers crossed) at least no bugs.

Man, if I get half from each it will be a total disaster....abount $80k invested in here. Profit between two people. Need at least 60 to make it worth while....but just like another commenter said....can't change the end result, just hope for the best.

If you are going big, I would start from seed from a reputable seedbank. Quality in = quality out. Genetics is HUGE if you want to end up with quality marijuana and maximize your efforts...
I wouldn't be settling for unknown any old clones
