Lol I've seen the Putang and glory hole names. Pretty funny.
I did notice that that Putang strain is a sort of silly mash up of the 2 parent strain names. No idea on the glory hole.
Wouldn't mind trying that putang stain. Sounds tasty from what I read.
Id also love to try a pure sativa. Never had the pleasure of trying one. Had some regular sativa stains but no landraces yet.

That Schlitz was drinkable. That Malt Liquor was just gross but we drank it anyway because it had more bang for the buck. It was a high alcohol nightmare.
This is the stuff I'm talking about. I puked my guts out many times and woke up in bushes on the side of the road once. Good times.

It's named properly. I don't smoke it in the morning. Some strains are named properly. Night Nurse is one of them. It might not have the highest THC but it will put you to sleep or have you taking a nap in the middle of the day if you smoke it in the morning. I keep it around. Just made a bunch of fem seeds. I'll grow a small plant now and then and get a couple ounces. Lasts me months.
When I wake up in the middle of the night I'll load a bowl of it and start watching gardening videos. I have a big screen mounted to the wall I can watch from bed. I fall asleep with the remote in my hand within 30 minutes every time.

God it was gross. So Was Colt 45 and OE800.
The only malt liquor I could stomach was Mickey's Wide Mouths.
I just noticed on the cans we both posted that the beer was also brewed in Brooklyn NY where I'm from, but not on the malt liquor.
Now I'm gonna have to Google Schlitz and see when they closed down the NY plant.

I love ACE.
I'm working through as much of their stuff as fast as I can. I make more seeds with each run. I'm doing either the Guatemala or Honduras first run after summer when I start the flower tent back up. Both are long flowering lanky sativa's so it's going to be a wild ride in a 4x4 tent. But I'm used to it. I'm hoping to harvest by March.
Have you tried their Panama red yet?

I find the time taken to grow some of these strains worthwhile.
I can understand those that are not impressed and choose to grow other strains.
There is something for everybody. People should grow what they like. I like sativas but I still grow hybrids and indicas because different times require different types of cannabis.
I like to keep a wide range of strains. But I do like my sativas.

How long have you been consuming the herb? This thread makes no sense at all. You know youre on a growers forums right?
If you only smoke polyhybrids and commercial strains there's no wonder why you can't feel the difference.
Sprout old-school stuff (90's) or landraces to get the real sativa effect. Kali Mist is the benchmark sativa IMO.

Location has some odd effects also.
With heroin users they discovered that people had a usual spot they fixed up, and a ritual/routine to prepping it.
Over time their body learned to anticipate the heroin coming when they were at their spot. They had people dose in unfamiliar places and the effects felt stronger and the likelihood of overdose went way up since the body wasn’t bracing itself for the hit.
I’m sure there’s similar mechanisms with weed.

I really wonder about this strain - harvesting point relationship. Because lots of folks harvest depending on the trichomes, and they harvest when they are cloudy, but yea, what if the strain they are growing is a strain known for giving a strong relaxed effect.

It's less to do with sativa vs indica and more to do with thc to cbd ratios, and terpene profiles in my opinion
Basically just Pavlovian conditioning for opiates.
