Why promote mexican stereo types with a mexican thug carrying a gun in your avatar (stereo type - all mexicans are criminals) and saying stuff like "why niggas be hatin, it's just the internets" (stereo type - all mexican people are uneducated)? Why promote racism by use of the word niggas? Do you feel it's your right? Maybe they feel it's their right to express themselves just like you do no matter how ignorant the statement being made might be.

........and I tried to answer. People have the right to express themselves however they want. Not everything's going to be positive. If anything I would have engaged the guy personaly over what he said to understand why he said it if I had a problem with it.

My statement had nothing to do with hate. I was saying say whatever you want, it's your right. I don't care if people have hate, nothing is ever going to change that. I'm saying you yourself express things that other people would have a problem with so don't bag on a guy for having made a statement. If you have a problem adress it but vague statements don't help. Maybe try and find out why he has taken the position he has. I had a problem with what you said and I engaged you to try and understand it. I didn't throw in some vague remark. I was pretty up front about it.

where i am right now, san francisco california, its ok for my black homies to say "hey nigga lets go get some food"
we dont sit there and argue about why he chose to call me a nigga, we go get food.

when i say to my boy "what up my nig, do you still got the line on those white girls"
he's not gonna sit there and question why i called him my nig, he's gonna tell me what the price of coke is.

the last one was just an example and not meant to be taken as any type of truth. for court reasons n shit.

dude...you need to calm down. this is the internet. this is RIU of all freaking places. people like to "toke n' talk" because this just happens to be *GASP!* the toke n' talk section. most people when replying in this section of the forum do so in the same manner in which they speak while they're offline. not to mention the fact that many people are on here typing whilst stoned. why did you feel the need to comment about his avatar and how he's pushing stereotypes? why does that even matter to you? im having a hard time understanding why you're so worked up over a thug in an avatar and use of the (very popular) slang term "nigga"...like really dude...what does it matter to you what some random person on the internet says or does?

You obviously missed the whole point of the conversation. I could care less about his avatar or his language or lack there of. He had a problem with someone posting a negative statement. I was just pointing out the fact that everyone has the right to be offensive even him. I was pointing out his hypocrisy little girl.
