Importante! Topping question

so let me tell my my situation.
i got this blueberry that stood in the window and stretched like craaaazy . its about...hmm 2 weeks? i dont really know. its in my growspace now feelin like a champ.

anywho, ive heard that blueberry performs better if you top it, wich i have never done before.
my questions is

1. when is the best time to top a plant? i mean, its still in vegg mode now (18/6) should i top it just before switching to 12/12 or does it even matter?

2. i want a twoheaded beast but with my luck i'll probly end up havin a fourheaded. anyways i got concearns about the stem since the plant stretched like a true athlete. is it a good idea to top a plant thats stretched beyond redemption? feels like it will succumb under the pressure.

lets see now. it goes cotyledon, false leaf, then firts node right? if so, it got 5 nodes.
feels like a waste throwin away 3 nodes haha well well.
if i cut it at the second node i should get two tops right?

I let my plants grow to 4 nodes and then i top above the second node, this creates 4 tops.

if you do it webs way (which in my opinion is the best way to top, let that shit get a 4 or 5 nodes tall then chop it at the 2nd node you get a short BUSHY ass plant) you can also lst or supercrop the lower nodes to get make one or two bigger top nodes. in my experience after toppin whichever node is highest from the canopy forms the largest clusters of flowers. but if you keep them all at the same height (normally) topped plants will have colas mostly the same density. from my experience, this shit isnt fact.

heres a plant that is a trifoliate (plant with 3sets of leaves instead of 2) that i topped at the 3rd node (plant was 6nodes high when topped) and i loooooove her so much she is 1week from 12/12, super excited, 9 tops.

like web said, if i were you i would wait until its about double the size you want then cut it in half. itll stunt the growth, but in a couple weeks (if you keep everything healthy) you should start seeing a bush. form out. you can cut off those pesky little sucker nodes that arent going to be getting any light being so far away from the top of the canopy.

web's 2nd picture (very nice by the way bro!!) if he would have trained the 3 tops to be lower than 1 of them, that 1 top would have been bigger than the other 3.

pics of some experimental techs im trying out.
for me, the best way i learned how to grow is to start a bunch and try a bunch of different techniques. cutting a fan leave instead of the node, cutitng the node instead of the fan leave, giving this plant more ferts than the others, give this one a 1/4tsp of H202 per 2liters of water. if you have enough plants then you wont care if you fuck a few of them up with your experiments. just be careful its not good to leave seeds started plants in 16os solo cups for more than 3 weeks, rootbound pretty bad.
