ive been googling it alll day, and so far have nothing, basicly they say take manure, green leaves and banana peals and just let it rot in a bucket in the sun till it bubbles and ferments, you know much more than i do when it comes to this stuff and i would love to hear what you end up using...

it's always the crotchety old guys that know the secrets, well if tea can make cauliflower that big im deffinately going to have to do some more research. hmmm molasis seams important for micro organisms to eat, but damn i have never been around the stuff and it is nasty!!!It smells horrible, so it must work.

here is a good recipie:
Good morning folks, wake and bake and tea time.

here's how to brew an effective tea.

Fill a 5 gallon bucket with water and use an airstone connected to an air pump to aerate the water for 24hrs, this will evaporate any traces of chlorine in the water wich can kill beneficial bacteria.

Ingredients (these are for 4 gallons of water)
This is a base tea, you can water with this every watering.

4TBS of worm castings
4TBS of molasses
1-2TBS lquid seaweed
2TBS of liquid karma (optional, substitute for humic or fulvic acids)

To feed the plants you add to your base tea:

2-3TBS of either high N or P guano

I don't use a cloth bag to hold the solid ammendments, I just dump everything in because I find it brews much better and the solids have a better contact and surface area with the rest of the brew.
The only drawback to the "no pouch method" is it can clog you airstone, what I do is keep the airstone suspended as opposed to sitting on the bottom.
Once everything is setup and the ingredients are brewing keep it bubbling for 24-48hrs loosely covered in a dark place, after 2 days you should have foam at the top.
Use guanos only when you want to give them a boost and not everytime as guano is high release, I use guano once high N in veg and 3-4 times during flowering, the rest of the time just use the basic elements and skip the guano.

man I was just looking at a website with lists, and lists of tea recipes, I wasnt even searching for it either. I think I went to

Mamma.com And typed it Molasses

It was one of the first 8 links I believe. Had tons of recipes, molasses being a key ingredient in alot of teas, is why it came up : )

By the way, can anyone sell me some Worm Castings? I really would like to try them but cant seem to find them anywhere, im about ready to start slavin the ones I got in my yard, put those freeloaders to work.

YAY!!! ive been thinking about that a lot lately, i read a book written by a guy like that, he said the size was all in how big a hole you dig and how well you prep the soil before you ever germinate a seed. what is John Evans claim to success?

i guess it's the tea he sells, you guys should see the tea ive been brewing for almost 2 weeks now, every few days i go to mix it, it's covered in an inch of mold and junk, it reaks so bad, and it's starting to bubble like sour mash a little, i put a ton of rubarb in there, and the molasis and junk really adds to the nasty stank, i figure once the water thickens and the leaves soften into goo ill have a concentrated compost tea the consistancy of mashed potatoes, and then i can mix it with water at the site.

Personally, I have always preferred rabbit manure. It makes a wonderful tea and the waste product itself is then mixed in with you potting mix.
