I’m SofaKingHigh and this is my grow room

Finally got around to hooking up pump for my drain. Definitely not a permanent setup but will work for this run. I also removed my small humidifier now as the big one I got is doing a good job keeping me between 50-60% RH. My exhaust now runs every 30 min for 15 min. Might have to get a digital timer and shorten the time frame, right now it’s working well. Temps are 80-82 with top leaf temps at 77-78.

Update on the plants. I cleaned them up a bit after the topping. I have roots coming out the bottom of a few of the 3 gal pots. They are gonna explode with growth soon I can feel it. As soon as the tops of the plants get to the frame I’ll throw the screen on.

Decided to change up my plan a bit, instead of using the plastic fence I decided to use string instead. Still using 2 inch squares. Plants are growing good, had small problem of splitting a stem where I topped. I tapped it up right away and used a twist tie to keep it tight together. Happened 3 days ago and I have not seen any change in the growth so should heal up fine. Can’t wait to start filling the screen, plants are just starting to touch in the 5 gal pots. Still no signs of sex yet so we will see.

Agreed on that for sure, all I have is regular seeds. Idk if it would be a good idea to flip until they show or just wait and flip and chop if any males show up.

It’s a tough call
Ideally you could have taken cuts and flipped them while vegging the moms
It’s a crap shoot now

Ah I didn’t think about that lol. First go at scroging so I never had to worry before. I guess I’m gonna see how lucky I am this run. Definitely not ideal.

Plants are growing good, feeding in the am and pm now using just mega crop nothing else. Up to 1.0 EC with .8-.9 EC run off and 5.8 ph in and 5.8 ph out. Letting the plants grow up through the screen a bit and then I’ll start tucking. Got a radiator style heater now too. And the stem that I split healed up nicely.

Plants are looking super healthy just using mega crop 1 part nutrient. I’m feeding at .9-1.0 EC. Started looking into my lights more and took some adjusting and time and I have definitely got them more dialed in. No more shying away from the lights. Been letting them grow then tucking them under the screen. I removed a lot of undergrowth to clean them up and allow better air flow. Eventually I’ll trim away everything under the net so I just have a nice even canopy. Taking some practice getting use to how to tuck the branches but I’m getting better and better. I have also come to the realization I’m gonna have an extend veg time. The seeds popped out of the coco on December 10th. Some people on here count the veg weeks weird, why is beyond me I think they just want the plants to look bigger and say it’s less weeks old but you do you boo. I think if I had set my scrog screen lower it would help my veg time but I’ll have to wait until I have an automated watering system in before I go much lower due to needing room to feed and work under the screen. I definitely know something’s I’m going to change up for next round that’s for sure.

Well it’s official, I flipped to 12/12 today. The plants really filled that screen pretty fast so I’m a little worried I waited a little long but I’m not too worried yet. I still have holes to fill and I’ll keep tucking for the next 10-14 days depending on how the stretch goes. Pretty sure I got all light leaks sealed and all lights on equipment covered. Still feeding at .9-1 ec and soon I’ll start feeding 3 times a day but for now just am and pm.

Looking good bro... yeah, you might have waited a bit long to flip, but a second screen is def an option!. Those babies are gonna stretch and fast... depending on the pheno, but waiting till they hit the screen to flip has been one of my mistakes a few times, esp not knowing the pheno, and how they stretch... otherwise, looking good!

Thanks man! I definitely have the room so if it gets bad I will do another screen. I’ll keep tucking and see what happens.

You're doing great man.

So now on day 10 of flowering, some how I managed to get all 6 females from 6 regular seeds. I feel like I should have been at the casino but oh well lol. I’m done tucking now after tucking about the first 8 days after flip. Still running MC at 15 grams for 5 gallons. I tried bumping up the nutrients some to get closer to the MC feeding schedule but stated getting a slight tip burn so I backed it back off. Also started the bud explosion at 5 grams per 5 gallons of water. Ec is at 1.2 going in. Very happy with how full the screen is and should be a fun flowering.

I’m not sure as the seeds were just given to me from a friend in California as wedding cake.

The plants exploded with growth and looking good and filling the screen. Cleaned up everything under the screen and a few big fan leaves up top. Slight tip burn but nothing I’m worried about and it’s mostly on one plant, the one that is totally different from the rest. I’m really liking the mega crop. Much more airflow now, been watching the humidity but the temperature swings outdoors is not helping. 60 one day 30 the next.
