I'm sick.

As the old saying goes, you are what you eat. Every time I eat something I run to the mirror and watch myself turn. Whether it's a frizzled French fry or a ruptured burrito, I always wear it out in public.

In the head! And in my body. I feel as though I've had a permanent cold all Winter. Or a succession of colds all Winter. Is it just me? Or is this just normal for a parent of school age kids? Just fucking sick all the time from the nasty little incubators. What's up.
What's your diet and lifestyle like?

Drink plenty of water. At least 8 cups a day. More if you can. Eat good food. Good raw produce if you can. Exercise. Take a good multivitamin.

These are good steps to start. Also remember that a lot of your immune system depends on good bacteria in the gut. Try some good probiotics and look into fermented foods.

Getting out into nature or somewhere quiet and clear your thoughts. Meditate. That helps as well to reduce stress.

Walk bare footed outside. I know it sounds crazy but it helps. Something to do with all the electronics we are exposed to.

I'm the same way. I never touch my face while out in public, and I pull my jacket sleeve over my hand, or make sure to grab 2-3 sanitary wipes while food shopping to wipe down my cart and to open doors and such. The first thing I do when I walk in the door is wash my hands. I haven't been sick in the last couple of years, and plan to continue this streak for as long as possible. Life is difficult enough with being bedridden...
I've dodged the Flu bullet this year too. I even do whatever shopping I need to do first thing in the AM before it's crowded. AND hand sanitizer in the car. If I have to take a leak when out, I look for bathrooms that have the maze instead of a door so the only thing I have to touch is my zipper and weiner.
Nah. You guys got it backwards. You need exposure to build immunity.

I lick four or five carts every time I go to a store. I try to touch the restroom door and then pick my nose.

I agree... I hate being sick and even with a more suppressed immune system than most, I hardly ever watch what I touch in public. I usually don't wash my hands before I eat or when I touch doors. Only place I do use sanitizer is in hospitals and doctor offices. Anywhere else I just let it ride out...

Gargle with salt water Neo. If that doesn't work and an anal douche of same will make you forget your troubles for a while.
Is salt water still cool?

So it doesn't have to be sea salt, Himalayan pink salt, Celtic sea saIt, Kosher salt, fleur de sel, Hawaiian volcano salt, kala namak, smoked salt, seasoned salt, bath salts, somersauIts or magnesium chloride?

Just checking.

Eat only extremely spicy foods, drink water with fresh lemon and honey and do a shot of 80 proof or higher liquor before going to bed. You'll be better in 2 days.
