yea maybe government subsidized housing is that cheap. very few apartments are that cheap in michigan, your looking at more like 650-800 for a decent apartment.

And as far as buying cheap houses here, you get what you pay for. Granted there are some really good deals out there for nice houses.

your most likely not getting a move in ready house for 15,000.

and you can get cash back on a bridge card in michigan. which i think is fuckin stupid.

All depends on the location and no not in the projects...Generally Just not in South michigan or GR that is the going rate....Shitty fucking towns but not 'the projects'

Last time I rented, our home was 4 beds, 1900 sqft, 2 car garage, half acre back yard, home was about 25 years old, and it was 550 a month. It was really nice for a rental I thought.

1100-1200 bucks a month right now buys an acre lot in a sub with a brand new 2500+ sqft home, 3 car garage, and you shouldn;'t be more than 5 mins from the freeway.


But who in their right mind wants to live right next to 500 other people in a subdiviosn, lol.

That is only if you are eligible for cash assistance, which is different than food assistance.
