I'm Really Tired

... of the same old arguments I see here and on other forums. IMO, folks get way to passionate on things like nutes (GH vs AN vs FF vs DynaGro vs Humbolt vs Miracle Grow vs .....). Just mentioning Advanced Nutrients gets some people's blood pressure to rise.

And then there's the HID vs CFL vs T5 Fluorescents vs LED vs Incandescent vs....

I've seen fights break out over lighting schedules, ventilation, electrical,... The list goes on and on.

One thing I have not seen debated is the use of music in your grow room. I've found the girls love strong classical like Beethoven or Wager, but not the more mellow classical like Brahms. They also like 50s & 60s Solid Gold Oldies, but not heavy metal.

So the stage is set for the next great debate. What types of music do your girls respond to?

your totally right. im pretty sure the data is in all the sience books. its ganster rap or 50s music in veg, its clasical and 80s pop in flower.every know this to be true.its in the books.

Its not as bad as you would think. Yeas arguments break out here but for the most part we are laid back folks. You are absolutely rite about passion. Most true growers grow because its our passion. People often give mixed answers in forums and that leads two two or three experienced growers from different parts of the world giving info they apply themselves. I would not go with one type of music as I enjoy classics like Beethoven Moonlight Sonata to lil wayn no problems to korn freak on a leash and stuff like Toby Keith as good as I once was. So I would make my own play list.

I didn't mean to imply fisticuffs break out on a regular basis, but sometimes there is a little tension in some of the threads. I'm fairly new to this forum, but not to other forums or to growing. This was my feeble attempt to inject a little levity as sort of an introduction.

But at the same time, my ladies do prefer the music that I prefer, and dislike the music I dislike. Gee! What a coincidence, eh? ha!

I wonder if the music does anything at lights out or do they only take it in during lights on?That sounds like such a dumb question but most of us have a grasp that some things happen during lights on only.

Any opinion on this?

Is music beneficial with lights on or both on and off?
