I'm new at this.help

im new at outdoors growing.
well i was wanting to start a grow outdoors(next season) im in south western cali when is the best time to start growing??? and i also wanted to get ready early for example buy the beans,ferts and everything i'll need
IM THINKING ON GOING ORGANIC?
what line of nutes should i use??

basically i need a step by step kind of advice.
