Add more fish. Their excretions are nitrogen rich. They keep the water healthy.

I wonder though about the absence of light.

I have 4 more to put in. Seeing the first two in the cooler tells me to put them all in one and buy 12 more to have 6 in three coolers ea.

If the lack of light is a problem, we have waterproof LED spares in the boat. Green colored. Might have to drop one in each tub if the fish develop
eye trouble, (redness, puffiness, you know, like when we're stoned)

I'm up all night again so I can monitor them.

pics in a bit.

I'm all in on this.

I lowered the ppm to just under 500 and will bump it tonight back to 650.

6 Goldfish in 1 Igloo with one Plant and 6 4" air stones running off a 110 liter per minute air pump.
1 pump per 2 coolers.

Guys, the fish are living.

did you flush with plain water and let the fish lower the ph or did you ph down the water and hope the best for the fish? jc

C'mon,

I don't flush in Flower. 60 to 75 days for flowering, adding water as it's needed.

Had the fish in a separate fish bowl. Matched the #'s from the reservoir to the Fish bowl.

Then added fish to cooler.

This is great boomer. I'm glad they survived the night. Are you planning on leaving them in there for the duration of that plant,or even longer?

goldfish are like the cockroaches of water its nearly impossible to kill them. as far as the light issue, if they go a while without light 6+ months they will turn from gold to white. A goldfish can see both infrared and ultraviolet light so you can play around with that for a bit if you want. i use waste water from my tanks to water all of my plants not just my buds. ive never seen them in a reservoir so im scribed, id like to see where this goes. good luck

Thanks DocH,

Here's the plan,,,,,

The Kush girls need 70-75 days to flower.
We NEVER flush during the Flower cycle, we add water and nute's as needed.
The fish will stay in during the entire flower cycle.
When we harvest, we plan on keeping the fish
for the next round until the experiment runs it's
course and Madds can crunch the #'s to compare.
