So because i'm growing your dope to help you out, and kept no plants you think paying $600.00 is being greedy? $600.00 a month wouldn't be enough to live on, so getting a job would be a must. Think before typing on forums brosive. Remember, some grow just to watch them, and they don't even smoke. Just because you think growing and selling legally is just like being a drug dealer, your nuts. I don't know anyone who doesn't like to make money. Some say you are in it for money, and don't care about the patients. Think about it as going to your Dr. for what ever reason and them giving you some meds. They make money for PROVIDING A SERVICE. If you trust someone enough to grow there dope and trust they don't change on you or tell someone who could be a risk, you have some kind of a liking for this human.

well thats why im glad i grow for myself and if i was to ever grow for a patient i would do like i said have a certain amount of plants for the patient.

It's a shame sick people have to fight and beg for pain relief.Give old Michigan a few years there will be enough activist.Grow like crazy and make a higher standered to be a caregiver for folks to be in or stay home.

the bottom line is a caregiver offers a service. you as a patient have your option to find the right caregiver for you or simply grow your own. we dont all have to do things exactly the same.

i think i still have room for one more patient but im not sure, im waiting to hear back from on person still.

and to all the people saying "your 12 plants" bla bla....just because im growing "your" plants, that doesnt constitute free meds, maybe if your a friend or family member but im on these boards asknig strangers to become my patient so obviously id like to be reimbursed for my services and money invested and at $200 an ounce its pretty fair imo.

Whoa whoa whoa, what's with all the hostility Rzza? I did not "hijack" your thread, you asked a question I provided an answer.
there doesnt seem to be a whole lot of us. patients are everywhere though. why cant i find a couple more? lol
Simple because caregivers are everywhere as well and most are willing to provide their services free of charge to their registered patients. If you didn't want your question answered you shouldn't of asked it. Your douchey patient was even more unnecessairly hostile, but anyone who cusses a stranger out for no reason is neither intelligent or mature so I am not going to waste my time addressing him further. Judging from your other posts in other threads you seem like an intelligent, decent guy willing to listen to logic. So hopefully I just caught you on a bad day or you misunderstood my intentions or something.

Rzza you and I aren't too different, we come from the same school of thought. Some of the jokers in this thread are just absolutely ridiculous. "All growing expenses should come out of your pocket, and all meds you grow should be given away for 100% zero cost. If you make any money you're a greedy asshole... blah blah blah"... Yeah get the fuck outta here with all that noise. I log any where from 30-60 hours a week working in my grow. I have expenses of $1000+ a month when you added up electricity, replacement R/O filters, replacement bulbs, nutes, etc. etc. etc. I can only speak of my set-up, but yours sounds similar in scale. The notion that all that should just be charity work is just absurd. Not to mention my knowledge, that's worth something. When you can provide a service (like growing pot) that not everyone can provide you can and should charge for that service.

The only difference between you and I is I am less worried of walking along that grey line that is our current legislation. Yeah some LEO are trying to challenge p2p transfers. And God I hope I don't go to jail/prison for providing meds to sick people. I follow state law as it's written, and will always stay within the confines of the law, regardless how it changes. But our MMJ laws are in their infancy, legal precedent needs to be set. In order for that to happen some people are going to have to go through the system and fight it through the legal system. I really don't want to be that person, but I am willing if I am called upon to serve the MMJ community. And it would be kinda cool when attorneys of the future are learning the MI MMJ laws, the first legal case they talk about is (my name) vs The State of Michigan. Yeah, it'd suck doing a nickel in the state pen, so I can understand why you're trying to be extra careful Rzza. I just strongly believe that this is too important of an issue to not fight. If intelligent people don't fight the anti-mmj tyrants we could end up back in the Regan years. Do you really want to just say no?

Oh and by the way Rzza I highly doubt your meds are better. Maybe, just maybe if you're really good, your meds might be almost as good as mine, almost. But probably not. :) (j/k)

Oh and one more thing, hey CrazyBuds I will go get a "real" McJob like you right after you go sit on a dick you douche bag. Ha, the easy road. I would love to see you come take a trip down my easy road. You wouldn't last a day before you'd be so overwhelmed you'd be pulling out your hair. The two big jobs I've had in the past were insurance sales and owner of a real-estate investment and development company. And I can honestly say growing quality meds is more difficult and requires more skill than either of my other professions. I also make less and work more hours growing. But I guess I am greedy cause I believe in getting paid for a hard days work... how fucking anti-American right? What a greedy asshole I am cause I believe in feeding my family, paying my mortgage and taxes... what a douche right? I should probably pack it up and move to communist China with all this talk of getting paid for my work and efforts.

Got to say nothing ez about growing good meds. In my state you can only grow for one other then your self. at least at this time. It works out to two oz per month for card holder and sell the rest at 200-350 per oz. beter prices for low income med users. the prices are fair I think.

You know what is funny. The guys in this thread talking about how much you get from each person's 12 plants.

First, the arrangement is what people agree upon. My time and expertise happen to be worth a lot.

Second, if you don't know that 12 plants comes to 4 in flower (4 clone/ 4 veg), or 2 per month for an 8 week strain, you don't really grow and are full of shit.

How am I supposed to maintain a grow, harvest 2 plants per month and not get a fair price? I think the guys talking about free meds are wanna be care givers who have 4 illegal plants in a closet in some Fox Farm and a light from Home Depot.

Now, if you had a greenhouse things might be different - but indoors not a chance.

at the least rick they are doing something illegal, concidering they are being funded to pay for the business aspects. if they give free meds to their registered patients then who is paying the bills? its either the cg or its the people [or person] buying the meds. in other words, me the caregiver gives my five patients free buds and then i have to sell the rest [illegally according to some officials] to pay the bills. im not interested in selling to anyone who isnt registered to me as a patient.

i havent even mentioned the fact thats the free oz a month is somewhat a marketing scam. i touched on it in an earlier post but again, if a patient gets one free and buys one at regular price of 400 then hes actually paying 200 an oz. and if he gets one at free one at half price 200 and one at full price 400 thats 600 for three so again 200 an oz. if you wanna delve deeper, im offering either 3 or 4 (havent decided yet) oz per month at the 20o price. so for the math we have 4 oz at 200 each = 800 and the free guy offers one free and three at 400 thats 1200 for 4 oz. and even if the free guy offers one at half price thats still one at free one at 200 and two at 400 and that equals 1000. the only way the free cg is cheaper is if the patient only gets the minimum (free) and buys the rest from elsewhere but that ruins things for the cg and makes them resort to an illegal activity and risk losing everything.

I don't think it's legal to sell mmj in any state. The state may not go after you but the feds will. Not for mmj but for not paying taxes on income. lol
I can just see the feds going around state laws.Got yo love the IRS. Just a thought.

I agree with you about the arrangment part as if you and your patient have something worked out that's cool but your math is iffy. You need not count the clones in the tray cause they don't count as plants until there in there individual pots. So for 1 patient you can harvest 4 plants a month not 2. 4 in veg , 4 1 month in flower and 4 about to finish up. Real simple math here. P.s I have a veg light from home depot and I use fox farm soil and my stuff goes for 400 an oz easy. No bargain buy an oz get one free here.

Uhhhhh in Michigan a clone is a plant as soon as it gets a usable root so that would be about a week. So by your calculations you would be legal for one week then as soon as the clone gets that root your illegal...

Nope your wrong,,, it's a plant as soon as ya cut it for a clone even without having roots. Several folks got busted with unrooted clones so keep your cuts in your count as the coppers will.......

but then you go to our statute and find this where the last sentense allows for stalks which may be a clone?

Sec. 4. (a) A qualifying patient who has been issued and possesses a registry identification card shall not be subject to arrest, prosecution, or penalty in any manner, or denied any right or privilege, including but not limited to civil penalty or disciplinary action by a business or occupational or professional licensing board or bureau, for the medical use of marihuana in accordance with this act, provided that the qualifying patient possesses an amount of marihuana that does not exceed 2.5 ounces of usable marihuana, and, if the qualifying patient has not specified that a primary caregiver will be allowed under state law to cultivate marihuana for the qualifying patient, 12 marihuana plants kept in an enclosed, locked facility. Any incidental amount of seeds, stalks, and unusable roots shall also be allowed under state law and shall not be included in this amount.

Thats been confusing us also...when they say " stalk " I believe they are refering to dead plant...like after harvest...not a live cutting to be used for a clone.
Rooted or not...if it looks like your trying to grow it...then it counts, I think
