Yeah I need either a few more hours in the day or an entirely new day added to the week. I mentioned it to the local hydro guys and they mentioned using a spray just before the lights turn on with the logic that the heat from the light would evaporate the newly added moisture. Could switching from 4 watering cycles to 3 help and adding a lid to the rez help?

(3x3 flood table design. Rez doesn't have a lid.)

A lid on your res will help but you're not going to see any super drastic changes. It's definitely worth adding though. If you're using a 40 gal res your surface area of your water is about 6 square feet. If you're using the lid, the access hole only about .5 square foot. If your feedings have been working for you then I would keep feeding them the same cycle but that's just me.

I've heard that a layer of salt over the floor drops rh.
Never done it though.

did you have any fans in the growroom? just curious...

i myself have a half assed ventilation system but i can control the humidity and temp pretty good with just 2 fans in the room.
