I'm starting my 4th week in flowering getting lots of nuggets but my fan leaves are getting rust colored spots! Some are folding upwards and becoming brittle!!! Growing in soil, using 2 400 watt fluoros...watering at ph 6.5 and getting super low runoff ph of 5 to 5.5!! I learned during veg that I was overdoing the nutes so I flushed and backed off the nutes. Currently feeding dyna bloom 1/4 tsp per gallon water every other watering...

You can also go to nirvana just search nirvana marijuana seed and order Root Extender it has micorizie I probably spelled that wrong but you add it in your soil and will make your roots take up nutrients alot better just my opinion ok there is also a product called Happy Frog and it works really well good luck ok

Thanks for the input!! Been reading up and looking at pics ALL DAY...was leaning towards needing some Cal-Mag?? I've tried increasing the ph during veg stage and it never came up in my run off water?? I'm thinking my next grow I need a better soil? Any suggestions? I used miracle Gro potting mix with this batch and quickly started adding miracle Gro nutes...thought I was doing something good!! Lol...I had to do serious flushing and switched to dyna Gro and bloom...my girls had been doing great after that (until now that is)

You can, be very careful for mold bud rot etc, you don't wanna saturate your plants, you don't even want it to beed, a very light misting when lights go off to keep from burning. It can take up to an hour for it to completely evap or absorb in dense foliage and will burn if you do it before lights come on. You want to use room temp water to keep the stomata or whatever from snapping shut. Also don't have a fan blowing to hard on them or the water will dry and your left with a residue like a hard water residue on your leaves. Its cool if you get it, means your giving em too much water but don't keep it up.. I personally only foliar feed for deficiencies and to get my Cal mag. Foliar feeding nutes in general will slow root growth as the leaves are doing it. You want about an 1/8tsp per quart? Damn I don't know the smaller one out of quart and pint...or about half what you water with

When foliar feeding full effects are seen once the leaf is dry, depending on the severity it might take a couple days to completely recover. I've never foliar fed more than 4 times a day making sure to back off the lights a lot each time....but it works wonders, for example my last grow I had 8 sativas I pulled 3ozs or so each and all of them shared the same 2 gallons of dirt. Foliar feeding was the only way to keep ppm/ec low enough and still provide all the nutes

I feed with the Calmag Plus per label instructions and raised the ph to 7.5...runoff came out between 5.5 and 6. I'm nervous about foliar feeding because I have flowers EVERYWHERE!!
