So apparently they are into February. I am January 8th and still no card today. I have called and get nothing but a snippy response. Not quite sure what to do at this point.

Isn't there an email address to contact them? A kindly worded letter may help.

If people wouldn't call and just be patient. These over worked men and women. Could do their job and could possibly get caught up. To make the process for everybody speed up. I filed on Febuary 20th. I will only call if I get into June and no word.

Except, if I didn't call, my app would likely be sitting somewhere waiting for that call. They didn't do anything about their error until I called.

And lolz at overworked, I'm going to guess you don't have contact typically with city or state employees. I do daily at many different buildings through my job, and over worked is one of the last terms I would use.

My application has been in the "processing stage" since last Wednesday, no word yet from IDPH. My paperwork was received on 1/22/18

This is what drive's me crazy about this State. They swear up and down it is in order received, but people are getting cards in under 80 days, others are over 90 or 100 like I was, and no card or NEWS. No way people should have Cards and GGB and DJB can not even get an Answer.

So I went to Starflower Clinic on 2/10 and paid cash up front for everything. On 2/20 Heartland Security confirmed my application was processed on 2/20. Given these circumstances, does paying cash move things up at all? I did email the state and they do have my app, but they say it's still in process as of 4/01. What's y'alls guess as to when I will have a card in the mail?

Thanks :)

I'd say your looking at sometime around mid-end May.

I was an State Mine Examiner until I was injured in a roof collapse. Now I have minimal use of left leg and arm. So yes I've been around hard working State employees.

Ok, you're one of the few. Sorry about your injury, but that doesn't really validate hard work, just means you got injured.

So I went thru kind of an all-in-one doctor who filed all my paperwork, had the fingerprints done, etc...all electronically. He says that’s sometimes faster than doing it by snail mail/paper. But I was still advised 90-120 days. Everything was filed on 2/28. I’m probably looking at June sometime.

Best advice I can give anyone on here is quit calendar watching...especially if it’s been less than 90 days. I think they just have a couple hamsters on wheels doing the approvals. lol!
