Ill think about voting for Obama when.....

*He holds the bankers like AIG, JP Morgan, & Goldman Sachs accountable - when the ceos are behind bars. When the politicians funded by them are held accountable(Barney Frank etc). Only then will Obama remotely support the illusion that he is against these crooks.

*He stops the TSA, the patriot act, and infringements on our constitutional rights.

*He stops the quazi legal wars.

*He does something about this drug war mess.

*He goes public saying he supports Ron Pauls audit of the FED

*he puts on his "pair of comfortable shoes and marches on that picket line" - stops these neocon dictatorships from getting away with this shit like Union Busting and Dismantling elected officials.

Only then would I consider it, but really I am afraid this wouldn't be enough. Cornell west said it last week "Obama does not stand for the average man" (paraphrasing). Obama's entire staff is composed of Wall Street. Obama DOES NOT and WILL NOT stand for the common man. Obama is a liar and a criminal and should be impeached.

What would it take for you to even consider voting for Obama?

What is a common man? An unemployed Ron Paul supporter?

I consider myself a common man and I don't expect the President to do anything for me or against me. I can take care of myself. Everything has been perfect so far in that regard and I'll take the tax cut. Other than that, how has Obama affected you and your life?

Didn't some dude just get convicted of insider trading? I hear that was a big victory for the U.S. regulatory agencies( I guess... It's actually very hard to convict these guys you should check it out before blaming Obama for everything). Also, don't you remember the financial regulation reform that went through towards the beginning of Obama's presidency? I seem to remember specifically that Republicans and conservative democrats were to blame for the weakness of said reform, but that's a matter of dealing with political realities.... The president can't pass anything on his own after all.

Obama's Iraq/Afganastan policies are disappointing to all of us idealists who would rather we not be there at all... But to realists like Obama, Independent voters and the like (and that little voice in my head) flat out leaving the region seems like it may have shitty consequences... I mean, haven't we withdrawn from the region before under political pressure only to be back a decade or so later? I actually approve of Obama's approach; It's clear to me that he wants out but he wants to make sure he never has to go back. That's really the most realistic approach to the situation and I'm glad that he is level-headed enough to realize it. That goes with gitmo too, he doesn't want to just let these guys go and there is immense political opposition to moving the prisoners on U.S. soil. What do you want him to do?

Obama has yet to effect me in my life, hence the lack of support for the common man, for the third time this is not personnel, its politics. My life is great and I love life its easy and I am employed and also self-employed tyvm.

And again I don't expect him to do everything but these are all things he has the power to do virtually over night and he has not done them, he has had many opportunity to help the common mans plight and he has not ceased on one of them.

But the President just isn't doing enough to make your life better for you..........poor baby. Maybe one day you can get a President that will take care of you for you. This is America and we live in a democracy. That means nobody is going to be pleased all the time. We share. We have to. If you approve of half of the shit our government does then they are doing their job as best as they possibly can. Anyone who expects more needs to get over themselves and join the real world.

I personally could never vote for anyone who has tried pot, and says it should still be illegal. Therefore I will never vote for Obama, or anyone running for President. Unless one of them takes the position that pot should be legal for any use!
