Ill effects of cloning?

Is there any ill effects of cloning off a vegged clone and doing it again and agin rather then haveing a mother plant. Thanks for any input. Good or bad!

I have never seen any ill effect ....

I don't think there is genetic drift until hundreds or thousands of generations. I have heard this happens to very old cuts, but no worries!
