Iguana Juice for outdoor grow?

Hey guys I'm doing a small outdoor grow in my own garden soil. Plants have been vegging for nearly 7 weeks and look great. The soil seems rich and fertile. When I fork it I see loads of little worms and critters which would indicate to me an abundance of micronutrients. Up to this point all I've used as regards nutrients is some seaweed extract and a little molasses but basically no nutrients as their seems to be no need.

Coming into flowering I was considering using Iguana Juice Bloom as I've heard this is a good organic blooming fert. What I'm asking is do you think using this product in outdoor soil is a waste of money? Would I be better off just watering with a little molasses now and then for flowering? I do want to get the best yield I can but I don't want to add unecessary additives to my soil.

Any thoughts?

use the iguana juice and give them some dolomite lime too.

i have wondered this myself - its eather this with overdrive or big bud.....and base neuts..... mine have started stretching...and veg explosion so wont be long for me eather. im also thinking of protecting agaisnt mildew and mould by using protector by a n - have u used this?

im not sure but isnt the bloom suppose to work with the the grow? im just wondering if part grow ie grow preps the soil for the bloom?

Hey Mr Dude, no I haven't heard of the protector. I'm not that familiar with the AN lineup. I like to build up a good soil so the need for nutes is minimal. I'm quite idealistic but I think that's the way mother nature intended. I've never actually heard of a mould protector. I'm growing a pretty mould resistant strain so I'm not too worried. Do you really think it is necessary for you? Is the strain you're growing particularily succeptable to mould?

Yo Widowman thanks for your response too! Do you grow outdoors with Iguana and highly recommend? Does the IJ drop the Ph so much that lime is really required? I have garden lime but couldn't seem to find dolomite.

you use the lime anyways to keep the PH o.k.


and dolomite lime is the same as garden lime.

I use the grow and bloom outdoors as well. Nice chunky stalks and big, dark green fan leaves.

Hmm I might give it a try then. I love experimenting so I might try nutes on one plant and not the other and assess the overall yield.
