Ignore option

How does it work exactly? The person ignored cant post anymore on my post or try to contact me? or cant see what im writing as well has i cant see anymore what is he saying?

I think all it does is hide their posts. Before the website changed, if people were on your ignore list their posts would show up as "this person is on your ignore list, click to show post" or something like that. I havent seen that in a while,so maybe the new version of the site doesnt leave any trace of a persons post thats on your list, not totally sure.

I just put you on ignore and you disappeared completely. There appears to be a show ignored content button on the bottom right, if I get all tingly wondering what you said about me.
