good question ..... my thinking is that although the possibility of mutations in development could result from the thc in the system, the real developmental influences would more likely come from other lifestyle factors, like diet, exercise, stress levels other drugs/medications and those sorts of things. Certainly Fetal Alcohol Syndrome is very real. I really don't know if anything similar has been done for cannabis?

pretty good question, i havent thought of this before... but i would assume that because thc is a mild form of acid it can only do harm

No, but she claims that some of her friends blazed themselves retarded (close to her words exactly). She says that she smoked a little when she was younger but stopped smoking when she witnessed her friends getting dumb from what she believes was the smoking. I have learned over time to not completely trust her judgement, as she has been known to exagerate about a lot of things.

But thc and lsd are completely different things.

I dont think anything would happen if you smoked with the baby, however I would be worried about the inhalation of the actual smoke. If that would have any harm to the child, I think if you ate/vaporized it then youd be the same as you are today.

Go away, at what point in my post did i compare thc to lsd

mj is no good for minors as it damages brain development so its going to be no good for a fucking unborn child either.

My mom smoked cigs and weed when she was pregnant with my brother and me. We're both pretty smart and ambitious. Hard to say if it affected us, because I inherited some things from my mom I'd have rather gone without (ADD, anxiety, depression, eating disorder).

I don't think there is any question that whatever the mom intakes, it is shared wit the baby. the question I thought was whether or not thc would have an influence over the normal development of that baby. Cigarette smoke, pollution, food intake, other drugs/perscriptions etc are also in the mix to also influence that normal development?

THC does not cause cellular mutation.

and no you probly would not be the same. occasional use might be somewhat non harmfull for a pregnant woman and fetus
but the inhilation of CO, and CO2, would reduce birthweight and reduce overall o2 blood stats.

and while THC isnt a mutagen, most commercial pesticides and fertilizers can be, especially if incinerated and inhaled.
and no in many cases you would not know or taste such substances.

and just cuz the label says ORGANIC does not mean its safe to ingest, heres a short list of organic substances you dont want to ingest, feces (very organic), Ricin (see lethal poison can be organic too), botulism (bacteria is very organic).

so dont say your damn hippie sprays are safe, NOBODY makes ANY thing to spray on your plant thats safe to smoke

I can't tell if you mean acid as in low PH or acid as in lsd. If you mean lsd you are severely wrong....if you low ph...again I think you are very wrong unless you can provide some sources.

thc does no harm in babies they've done research and I have a few friends whose parents smoked pot during their pregnancies just to "help" with the brain development...

but I do know that nowadays if there are ANY traces of illegal drugs found un the baby , the mother will lose custody and serve jail time... in Tx at least...

Pot has been shown to reduce intelligence in developing brains. If you got high as a fetus you are dumber than you would have been without. Now go eat some lead paint chips to repair the damage.
