If you were to grow one plant...just one plant...

One unique plant. Not for yield or potency necessarily, but for the sheer uniqueness of it. I'm talking about the most interesting cultivar you can think of... Something that looks, or tastes, or even stones you unlike any other. Something unforgettable.... Unless its so potent, you simply cannot remember it lol.....
I am looking for one seed, from a bank which ships to the US. Something special.

Perhaps it should be: What was your favorite grow?

In other words, which grow was the most enjoyable to grow, maybe the look or smell of the plant stood out from the rest, it was particularly vigorous, etc. Everyone has a favorite and I want to hear about it!
The good people here are to be trusted.
Catalogs have been known to woo you with promises of flight and fancy. I need useful information, and I am not concerned with yield.

just one seed? there are plenty of ONE strains I'd grow, but I'd pop a couple beans of em to be sure and find that keeper.

Don't know if you've checked out the frostiest bud thread, but there is a guy who recently posted a skywalker og that is out of this world. I think it's from RP. I haven't smoked it, maybe we can ask him. But mother fucker it's everything one would want looks wise out of an og. Just a thought. I'm going to think about getting it.

There are way too many strains that are on the same level. They may taste different, look different, smoke different, but they are all just as good as the other. There is no one strain that is head and shoulders above everything else out there.

Holygrail Kush by DNA even if you dont get the right pheno you will be damn glad you grew that and nothing else!

Both skywalker kush and holy grail kush look great. I love hearing about fine aromas, plus the cannabis cup win.. Holy grail is the front runner for now.Keep in mind I am thinking about dr grinspoon as well, but I don't feel like growing a plant for 1/2 a year.. It's going to take something great. It seems HGK could take it...
I'm still looking for the best of the best or the craziest of the crazies.

Forget Dr Grinspoon I would even go as far as saying forget GHS, period.

I pretty much agree with you, I usually rate weed as top shelf middle etc. If it was a choice of just one, I would definitely consider yield and how easy it is to clone, also the high would have to be interesting. I would say Strawberry Cough or Anesthesia by Pyramid

Wow!!! Tall order...It reads to me as though the posts are leading you to the high THC, "Cannabis Cup", knock your peenie in the dirt weed...I come from a different perspective. I like to travel back in time to the buz that came from bud like Columbian Gold when a bag (lid) was measured by four fingers and went for $25...True 25% of the weight was ceeds but, hey, we all start somewhere...Plus the natural THC/CBD ratios seemed to produce more euphoria and not so much medication... It's a Landrace though, plant today, harvest six months down the road, maybe.

Assuming this is an indoor grow, Juanita la Lagrimosa by Reggae Ceeds...High CBD lower THC...Still has that peenie in the dirt thing going for it...Old time hippie giggles, eat day old Krispy Kreame donuts, see patterns, listen to "Dark Side Of The Moon", distorts time...70-80 day flower...OR...Y Griega, Medical Ceeds to stay with the sativa thing, 80-90 day flower...Insane body rush rollercoaster coupled with racing creative thoughts...Smoke this in the morning and kiss the rest of the day good-bye but not couch lock...Juanita, would still be my first choice...FWIW

Just curious...Why do you care what a random bunch of folks you don't know on the internet think is "the best"??? If you are looking for a grow just trust yourself!!! The fun is in the journey not the destination...I mean no harm...Grow in Peace...FWIW

It seems a lot of newer growers think there is one strain that is the "best ever" and it is a deeply guarded secret and if they ask the right places someone will tell them "this is the hands down, best ever".

But it isn't like that. There are a lot of strains that are really good, a lot of strains that are pretty good, a lot of strains that are good, etc.. There is no, be all end all strain, if there were every single grower would be growing it.

I am with you!!! There are many many dimensions to this amazing plant...I have picked up a joint i started in the morning that rocked my socks in inducing a euphoric high then that evening a re-light producing a different body buz...Maybe a chemical (resin) concentration thing or ratio (THC/CBD) change as a result of heat,IDK...Then the same weed from the same bag consumed in a chocolate chip cookie and my ticket to a different place has been punched...I guess my stone is not anybody else's stone...Ain't that the way it is supposed to be??? Most likely because it is fun to hear and see what other folks have done and experience. If the way u look at it as why do u care what people think on this "fun" online cominity, then get the fuck off here. Creating cool threads being interactive with other same hobbiest is why most of us are here. I feel like running my head through a wall wondering why r u even here.
