Just read something that made me sick to my stomach. I've been using Johnson & Johnsons baby soap in my neem oil treatments for a few of my recent grows. I just read an article that says formaldehyde is in the shampoo but the company will be removing it shortly.

Here is the link: http://thestir.cafemom.com/baby/128593/powerful_parents_get_toxins_removed

And a quote:

Johnson & Johnson, a mega brand in the baby industry, is heeding parents' concerns about formaldehyde in its popular shampoo. They're retooling the whole line to can the carcinogen.

You can use insecticidal soap as a surfactant, will help kill softbodied insects you're applying neem for.

I was told need/azzo mixed with insecticidal soap will double the potiency and caution should be used the first few times till you figure if its photo toxic.

Im tempted to use 1 oz neem and 1oz safer soap per gallon as a preventative.

The big deal in California is most pesticides need to start dissipate and break down within 24 hours (This is why its so infective) But products like Avid stay on for weeks making the leaf unattractive to bugs.
