And of course, now that they spent all the money that was meant to prevent this, they want to tax us for even more money to fix it now that it failed.

ok i was going to go through all your links and give a carefull considered response to them all.

unfortunately i got less than 2 pages into your first one...
One of the industry’s primary
goals has been to
convince
federal and
state legislators, regulatory
officials,
and the media that nuclear power is
som
e-
how
“clean” energy, because nuclear reactors emit
little carbon
dioxide into the atmosphere.
But
this
disregards the alphabet
soup of other cancer
-
causing pollutants spewed into our air and water by
nuclear facilities
now ok i thought perhaps this was a referance to fukishima..

Nuclear power facilities release a variety of cancer
-
causing radionuclides, including
Tritium, Stront
i-
um
-90, Cesium
-137, Plutonium
-239 and dozens
more. Nuclear reactors also release other toxins into
our air and water. While nuclear power qualifies,
barely, as a “low
-carbon” technology (although it is
not car
bon
-free, see below), the release to the env
i-
ronment of these pollutants, not to mention the r
a-
dioactive waste every nucl
ear facility generates,
clearly disqualifies nuclear power as being in any
sense “clean.”
Radiation is a toxic, persistent, and long
-lasting
pollutant
Nuclear radiation
seems “clean” only because you
cannot see, feel, touch or smell it. But that doesn’t
mean it isn’t released by nuclear reactors and other
facilities. It is. It doesn’t take an accident
: nuclear
reactors emit radiation int
o our air and water as part
of their routine, daily operations. And that it cannot
easily be detected or avoided makes radiation even
more dangerous.
Indeed, if the toxic radiation emitted routinely from
every nuclear reactor and other commercial nuclear
facilities were the color and texture of oil, or
smelled like natural gas, or was spewed as black
smoke, no one would ever again confuse nuclear
power with clean.“
but its not talking about fukishima at all...

that is just flat out bullshit i dont care if its in websit or pdf form it is flat out bullshit

coal stations emit more radiation (daily) to the enviroment than nuclear power stations.

again flat out bullshit

Nice. This thread has attracted trolls who don't approve of discussion. Stay here and post on, trolls. every post here is one fewer elsewhere.

The science is settled. Recent global warming trends are caused by human activities. We have about 2 or 4 years of Trump to get through for now and your idiot posts will keep us entertained for a while. So thanks for that.
