^^^ While i agree with Fran for the most part, I want to emphasise the importance of not just going with whites from their color temperature - you REALLY NEED the data to know what they are actually doing, cos there are a billion and one ways to make "white" - I would also argue for more 630nm red (and possibly less 660nm) than Fran is suggesting - The Astir panels, which have a fuck-ton of 630nm in them, get really nice results which to me evidence that weed loves 630nm.
And I say that while being in the 660nm lovers camp - My deep reds have pride of place on the copper heatsinks. :fire:

They should answer your emails quickly now as China is back open for business. It was Tomb Sweeping Holiday last week;

"All in all, the Qingming Festival is an occasion of unique characteristics, integrating sorrowful tears to the dead with the continuous laughter from the spring outing". (sounds festive doesn't it?)

Lovely , got an answer to my email. Without the answer for my most important question. Ohh i also got an extra cost. Lovely eh? To my understanding they stped using paypal also , now using t/t ... I dont know about that. So mad!!! Emailed again.

Edit: She said its her fault for the extra cost. Gave me 3,4 dollars of the price. Also said with paypal company has to pay 50 dollars for every payment and %10 of the money freezes for 3 months..I am kinda scared without the paypal? Should i?( it sounds bullshit , i used to buy airsoft guns from hongkong...they all used paypal. sounds B.S. what should i do?)

Also said this ; The warm white is 2700-3000k 3W Epistar LEDs.

Phantom doesnt have a seccond lens(on grow lights) ZA series have them.
Should i got with ZA series just for the extra 2nd lens and electric saving function?(turns off the fans when heat is okay)
ZA is 3X60 (180 watt/120 watt actual draw acording to growblu site)
Phantom is 3x78 (this should be a little pricer also , 150 watts)

Just throwing these out here...while waiting for your help and config. (veg and flower with the same unit , only 2 plants)
ZA SERIES.(Got the spec from growblu site but not the numbers)
430nm 4
460nm 5
525nm 4
630nm 21
660nm 17
730nm 4
Warm White 3000k 5 (epistar)
Scrapped the purple like Snot suggested.
Hold off on 660's because of the price and heat?Gave a bit more to 630's.
----------------------------------
Phantom
430 3 BLUE
460 8 BLUE
525 7 GREEN
630 27 RED
660 24 DEEP RED
730 4 FAR RED
3000k 5 WARM WHITE (epistar)

Waiting for help :) with config and suggestions about payment. I am kinda happy that this is going....and kinda sad because the price popped up a bit.

That is looking much much better. The paypal thing does sound suspicious. I'm gonna wait for someone else to chime in on that cos i'm a DIY kinda guy, and use paypal to buy any chinese components i get with no problems.

Got some work to do then ima look up those epistars and tell you what theyre saying.

I just got my customize fixture from Fero (EU) to day :)

View attachment 2606855

about 400 euro

120X3W Epistar 288 watt

each cluster have:

1x620
2x630
4x640
4x660
1x700

1x455
2x 6500K

made it to replace my HPS for flowering, use my 6 bulb T5HOs 6500K for Veg.

service have been great, fast reply by mail or online chat, but do to holidays and the fact that I customized it made it a +3 weeks wait .. hope its worth waiting for

two things tho, a loose screw and a plug I had to replace even tho they did promise a EU plug, but minor stuff, seems like I got what I paid for and what I ask for ..

Edit: a few pics of it running, according to my light meter it provide about 7,000 foot candles at 0-1 feet and about 4-6K from 1-3 feet after that it faint fast to 3K

DSC01376.jpgDSC01377.jpgDSC01379.jpgDSC01381.jpg

pretty impressive IMO, only down side I see is that it don't cover much, only a few inch`s out to the side or ends of the fixture and the light drop fast, guess I need a light mover or a fixture more at some point, for now I want to see for myself how it preform ..

430 BLUE 5
460 BLUE 6
630 RED 27
660 DEEP RED 30
730 FAR RED 6
Warm White3000k 4
They made me change my order 4 times...at first i had more warm whites and blues then they told me that wont work because its 150w.They told me i can only have 5b:5b:6IR:5warm white.Because they used the same line??same power?Whatever it is.At first i added orange but the warm white hits at orange so i took it out. I feel like i have been ripped off but i dont know much about the power stuff so...gagh...i hope i didnt get ripped off. Anyway , the light it self costed 178 dollars (dimmable multifunction version) postage is rapage.
They also tried making me pay extra 10 dollars for using paypal. After i talked to them they took that off. I hope i bought something good. :( i dont know why i feel bad , maybe because i realllly reaaaaally feel like i got ripped off? Blue/white thing didnt made sense....pluss they made the same mistake twice?

Someone please tell me its good or something. lol going to the hospital now. Good night all.(morning here)

That's a flowering lamp (and not a good one at that). Only 2 bands. Look for one that has a fuller spectrum or states that it's specific for vegetative growth (look for white diodes).

protip: While your panel is carried from china on the back of an elephant you should start learning about 2nd most important thing for easy growing IMHO: organic soil. Look up subcool's super soil - It takes ages to "brew" but you can just cheat and buy bio-bizz all-mix, amend it if you like using what you've learned from super soil. This is also great if you're doing stealth or live in a city, and cant be mixing up barrels of compost. :P

It shocks me seeing how much people on here are feeding this and that with non-living soil. Mostly just classic humans thinking they know better every 5 minutes, interspersed with the rare bit of actual necessary feeding.

In my head it just seems like a barrel of effort to replicate healthy soil's processes, when you literally have an army of microbes doing it for you with organics.

edit: and it just occured to me that you might not even be a new grower. :P Derp. Sorry. i'll leave this self-congratulating monologue here as a warning to the others. :eyesmoke:

edit2: Do a grow log and show us all, if you swing that way ;)

Lol Snot thanks for all that , made me laugh at the end. Well i am a new grower. But i read alot so i started with light mix for my seedlings. Transfered them to all mix... Got my fav in an airpot. Using cfls because the others cost too much for me and i have heat issues( electric price wise). Started a grow log but will update it soon. People say fast food is shit but then turn arround and zombie up their own creation.Everything natural tastes better , if possible.

Is that better than just buying a 800w led or 600w led. Just buy multiple led panels my grow space is a 2x4x6 grow tent right now I have a 270w led.all the plants I plan on growing are all short. About how many plants can I grow with the 270w and adding about $ 800 more in led lights. Anybody order from cidly I'm kinda weary to do a bank draft I'm in USA

i just ordered from cidly today...they accept paypal if you ask very very hard enough. They try to charge you extra 10 dollars for paypal by the way...and there is something fishy about their sales rep. But i cant be sure.Dont know if they ship to usa...i hear grow blu is their usa distirbutor...so...

Cidly is legit wit ordering they just started using pay pal last year and recently added to their site. The $10 for paypal is what they are being charged by paypal. Same idea as buying on ebay. The seller charges the buyer ... growblu is not their distributor. They are just another company that sells rebranded light at a higher cost. They slap a growblu decal on every light. They stopped carrying bysen lights but that I don't know why.

They are not fond of paypal tho...took me long to get them to accept it. Pluss they should pay the 10 dollar fee...not the buyer. Even when sending money from paypal it says no charge for the buyer , seller pays the charge. But cidly still trys to add 10 dollars to your total fee. Had enough airsoft gun purchases from hong kong to know that.( to be fair the seller rep did say sorry and that they started using paypal just yet)
I am not even gonna talk about their mistakes...Still if everything goes well till the day i get my order than i am gonna say okay...good. But right now i am kinda edgy.

Dont get me wrong i am not bashing them or their products...but i kinda had a bit of problems when ordering.Hope all clears out after i get it.

have you guys heard of "hans panel"?, I wanna build one with split circuits allowing different blend/mix of diff diodes depending on the desired SEASON veg or bud, anyone else like CREE diodes?

I' not familiar with the color scale terms, meanings looking for info on it.

I'm also wondering about how many of each color to start keeping in mind I'll have the ability to control each diode individually, with planning on full power red with some blue probably for flowering desired conditions are:

my space is 72' tall, 30" wide, 72" deep, divided in half vertically, (it' a child's sleeping bunk space in a travel trailer) seems perfect for 1-2 plants, prob 1 nice one.

thinking of hanging the tote root chamber by the tote lip in a slot cut out in the mattress platform. nutrient reservoir, pump, filter, drain etc. underneath with LED panel, maybe single T-5 on either side as well on top. A cabinet door to close the space off and control environment with fan and ventilation out.

I've been reading these forums for awhile I'm getting excited, any help or comments appreciated
