I don't think anybody is saying you can't grow fat buds with a Mars Hydro Led. I think what people are saying is that they use cheap components/drivers that typically do not last long. You're right though, there are plenty of companies who exaggerate or straight up lie to people and sell products that are 2 or 3 times what they are worth. From what I've seen, there are several companies producing cob lighting systems for very reasonable prices ($175+). These systems use much better components and will usually last much longer than typical cheap lights.
If Mars is so good why did I get banned from 420mag for stating that they didn't fix my light? They sent me diodes and I didn't have a powerful soldering iron and why should I have to fix it when it's under warranty. Expect failure in 15 months if not sooner and as for lights I use Cree CXB3590s. I forgot to say I made them and here's a pic of my light next to a Mars II 1600 and a 900 and my light is only 413w it's a CXA3590. Mars is loud and throws off heat and you can't even hear my lights

I read about 15 pages in this thread, but I don't have the time to read through 408 of them. And I still haven't found information about good grow lights that can be shipped to and from Europe which is what I was originally interested in and still am. Thanks for your input on that light though, but could you maybe recommend to me one that produces something closer to 1g / watt?
