Bonjour
Vero18 + hlg-120-1050b...(cheaper than 4 cxb which would be too much for your room)
Look at some vero18 thread...it will inspire you!
What is your budget?
Is it for vegg, flo or both?
Have a great day ★
Thanks littlejacob ,budget is not a problem,
it will be for both veg and flower plan to
run a scrog.

Thanks litllejacob. I plan to start with 2 veros and will gradually add the rest. What do you think is a good fit for a meanwell driver that drives one cob at a time?
I am not sure but look at hlg-80-700 or smaller but I am definitely not sure about this...I believe v18 are 36v @1050mA...check this in a v18 thread

Hi, could i run CXA3070 at 1050mA, on this driver? I ask as i just been offered 10 for a cheap price.

The specs are:
Model EUP45T-1WMC-0

Output Current

500mA, voltage 33-65V

700mA , voltage 33-65V

900mA , voltage 33-50V

1050mA DC, voltage 33-42V

  • Rated power 45W
  • Current Accuracy ±5%
  • Channels 1
  • R & N (Max) 200mVp-p
  • Input Voltage Range 40VAC – 240V
  • AC Frequency Range 47 – 63Hz
  • Efficiency(Typ) 87%
  • AC Current 1A@230V
  • AC Leakage Current <5mA
  • In Rush Current at 230VAC
  • Protection Short Circuit, recovers automatically after fault condition removed
  • Protection Over Current, recovers automatically after fault condition removed
  • Function Dimming TRIAC/ELV
  • Others Dimension 122(L) *78(W)*32 (H)mm
  • G.W 225g Packing 469(L)*281 (W)*234 (H) mm
  • temp. -20C ~ 50C
  • Working humidity 20~90% RH

Cheers

I have not yet started growing yet but am moving to CO in February. My cousin is currently in Cali doing his first outdoor season and has several years of indoor experience but is stuck on HPS. We are both going to rent a place in CO and I have been doing some research into LED and am thinking it is the way to go. I just found out about area 51 today and am impressed with what i have read so far. I am looking at these w90s and do not quite understand the difference between the 3000k 4000k and 5000k models and was wondering if someone could explain this a little to me..any info would be greatly appreciated

3000k is warm white...flowering
4000k is white...for both vegg and flo
5000k is cool white...for vegging
Did you read the thread. All things vero.?
You should...if you know how to handle tools...than you could build your own light for much less $...you have every informations you need here...I am a living proof...lol
Have a great day ★

Hey! Newbie here still researching. I have a special problem in that where I live I can't buy grow lights so it's either order online and risk questions if they were stopped in the nail or diy my own. I did some research and I saw some of you are using led strips, I have some rgb smd 5050 strips, 3m worth and plan on wiring them together using some aluminium as a heat sink and trying to wire on 3 blue for every 1red.

Stupid question and you probably need more information but as I said I am a novice.. how many meters would I need for about a meter squared grow?

Thanks guys!!

Bonjour
I don't know about your led strips sorry
Smd is that 3w diodes?
What brand? How many mA?
I use cxb 3590 and so far I love it!
And for diy you can get all the parts for a good price and in parts, pannels looks like parts...lol no problem with that!
It is allowed to build a light for any purpose...as cob, I guess, were not build to grow weed in first place. But if custom ask you say it is for fish...it could be!
Have a great day ★

This is only a rough estimate but I'm thinking you'll need about 400w for a space that size. Most of the strips I see are approx 15 w/metre so theoretically 26 metres might do the trick.

But I kinda doubt its worthwhile.
